Can someone help me with a thing: Install SOL on assetto corsa, everything ok, a lot settings done, most of them I found by MYSELF but I am STUCK at one: the motion blur! All.settings done there also but HOW THE HELL can I dont blur my dashboard and the interior of the car, I want blur only on the outside. Does anyone know?

TIP FOR THE EXTRACTING PART (make sure you have 7zip): Firstly, you need to right click sol file and then click on “extract all” to somewhere navigable, I did it on downloads. After that, you will have a new one and it should NOT have the zipper icon on the file. once you have done that, click on the file and go to sol 2.2.9. The rest is a breeze. What I did was drag and drop the sol uninstall into the root folder. After that, select extension, content, apps, and system (by holding right click and make sure all 4 are highlighted or inside the box), select the two squares on top which should say copy if you hover over, then go to your root folder and right click on an empty space and then select the clipboard which should say paste. There you go! Comment anything if you still have any troubles!
I've had weird issues with people joining my server's and car's being broken online. I'm still on on the last update and everyone who has the latest csp if having to roll back to join. Weird. Hope we get it all figured out.

It's getting more and more difficult to follow... all the work from modders is fantastic but it's easy to get lost between all the stuff you need to install and how to install them, CM, CSP, Sol, Pure.. "new" CM, I mean, refering to something as "new" that could be updated in weeks or days.. And traffic maps, get the track, get the traffic layouts, get the traffic cars, unzip this here, copy paste that there. Please.... please just make one single zip file. I'm not touching my game anymore, it looks great, it's incredibly fun, that's enough for me. If I mess it up trying to update something I won't have the energy to start over lol..
Yes, that's right. We are trying to make it more easy. But all the modding is done by many people and things are changing fast. Actually a manual install will always work.

Sorry for the version missmatch. First I thought it is better to make a new version, but not everybody was having troubles, only the people with the new CSP and CM. So I decided to integrate it in Sol 2.2.8 and re-upload it. So the people with trouble can download it again and the other people don't have a new version for no reason.

thankyou, been tryna figure dis out an spent $13 on the sol which was kinda upsetting but good tutorial only part i got lost was the shortcut where u transfer the uninstall sol file, all i had to do was get an app to extract it.
Do you have any idea why my lighting effects in Assetto would be static, in other words the lighting inside the car isn't changing at all, not matter where I am on the track... I have somehow got a setting turned off. I am running the latest Pure, and have tried messing with it, and Sol as well.
the new update has made it almost impossible for me to drive in the rain just keep spinning tyres literally undrivable any idea on how to help or fix this please man
You gotta download a 7z file extractor man like Bree or 7z there's a ton but I tend to use these 2 to get the job done you'll need these to unzip car and track mods as well hope this helps man
I installed sol but having trouble with the "uninstall " part. When i drag "uninstall" into th AC root folder. Once its copied over i click it to uninstall, it asks me if i want to uninstall. I say yes. It uninstalls. Then i copy the apps/content/extension/systems from the SOL folder and paste it in the root AC folder but it shows it has 577 files to copy. What am i doing wrong?

@@x9x144It's a false-positive. According to some helpful Reddit dude, Sol uses DLL files, which most malware uses. However, the DLL of Sol is only to change the codes/files of the game, and implement the Sol file.
ok im noot getting it, i download i go to files and dont have a raw file i have a file that opens my browser then downloads another file that when i open it, it makes me download the same file again
Does the live weather do what real conditions check box does? I use the real conditions feature a lot because I like how it sets the time and weather but if the live weather setting is more accurate I'd use that instead if I do though will I need to adjust the time every time I'm about to race?
A while ago i downloaded SOL "the wrong way" by dragging a dropping it, Im starting to have issues like the sky is pitch black no matter of the time and when i configure the visuals using sol config it has no effect, Ive gotten advice to uninstall SOL and then CSP but Im having trouble uninstalling SOL because I dont know where to start.

So I’m new to assetto on PC, never downloaded Sol before and when I hit the download link on RaceDepartment it downloads the first part fine. When I try to open the second part for the PDF it keeps asking me how I want to open the .7z file, am I missing something because it won’t open the PDF in Chrome and I can’t just enter the link manually because it asks for a verification key. Any help is much appreciated!
@@BBB-999 make sure you have 7zip installed and set as your default to open zipped files, worked fine for me! I was being a little to rushed trying to get into the game and missed that setting.
im gonna morb with how fast all these moders are updating their stuff , I just updated aegist to 1.16 and two hours later blud takes out 1.18 , then I also just updated to 2.2.8 and now 2.2.9 exists , good grief

And moon has the same during night time. It also has other boxes that has description as if it is showing other planets. It's so weird. This happen after installing sky ppfilter.

Thanks for another great video! How can make SOL set random ambient and track temps? If I choose the random temperature option in Content Manager, my SOL weather presets overrides it and I don't see an option to have ambient and track be set randomly. So I know how to create dynamic weathers with SOL but doesn't seem to affect ambient n track temps.
Sorry if this was addressed in the video but I didn't hear it.... If i'm satisfied with Pure and am moving forward with Pure, do I still need to keep up with SOL updates and installs? Or - Is Pure able to stand alone now?

Ok, so I did all of this, but mine still shows 'Weather Script' in 'Settings/WeatherFX', not 'Weather Style', there is also no option to turn Wipers off Automatically, just headlights. Also under 'Content Manager/Drive' there is no option to select Weather effects anywhere. There is also no drop-down option for Sol 2.5 Planner under the Drive menu. I am on the latest version of Content Manager 0.8.2561. I'm on Sol 2.2.9, CSP 0.1.79. The 'Exquisite 2.5 instructions say to put the sol_config file into your USER/DOCUMENTS/ASSETTO CORSA/SOL folder...but that folder doesn't exist. I was told how 'easy' it was to mod this game...LOL 😂🤣

i have an older version and i don't know why but when i uninstalled and uninstalled userfiles it said the system could not find specified file

No, there is no 2.2.9, I just did some hot fixes and wrote 2.2.9 in the changelog which was a failure. Sol 2.2.8 is the current version.
