It is good to see some areas in our parks off limits as we do want to keep as many of these natural areas as natural as possible for as long as possible.
I agree that some areas need to be protected, but others, like cave of the domes, that has been open until recently, I am not so sure. I guess it is a bit of a balance. Thank you for watching!
Really interesting to hear about all the different spots that are closed to visitors. I can understand why they are doing this - for people's safety and to protect the history of certain places.
This is such an interesting topic! I honestly feel like many areas are off limits to protect cultural sites and to keep visitors from getting into situations that could be dangerous. I would imagine getting to that plane crash site could be precarious, and would end up requiring rescue. I have heard therevare some caves up along the canyon cliffs that are off limits. I imagine safety concerns. Have you heard of them?
I do not disagree about the rationale for closing certain areas. There is a trail the other side of the crash site, but getting to the sites would involve crossing the river, which could be challenging depending on the flow. There are countless caves, and officially, they are all off limits. But of course, other than blocking the entries, there is not all that much they can do to keep people out. I did a small bit of caving as a young man, and that was enough to cure me of interest in caves.
@@nationalparksprincess3216 I remember leaving a cave and breathing out orange dirt for an hour. That could not have been healthy, and that was enough for me!
Yes, I noticed that desire in your petroglyphs video: ruclips.net/video/fNkATP7rtWo/видео.html There is so much to see in the Park, it would probably take more than a lifetime to do it all.
@@GC-Hiker it’s my favorite park and I plan to make at least 2 trips there every year (or more). Your channel is a favorite of mine for obvious reasons. Keep sharing!
A more complete list of the closed areas is found at www.nps.gov/grca/learn/management/upload/grca-supt-compendium.pdf
그랜드캐니언 트래킹 해보고 싶네요. 멋진 곳입니다 .
Thanks for watching!

Great interesting info story ❤ 👍
Thanks for watching!
You definitely are the go to guy for information on the Grand Canyon great job
Thanks!
Great information! I can’t wait to get settled in there and spend the next few years exploring. Just a few shorts weeks! 😊
How exciting! I am sure there will be both good and bad, but the Canyon itself will hopefully make it a rewarding decision. All the best!
I had heard rumors about secret areas, but never specifically knew what they were. This is an interesting and informative video.
Thanks so much, I appreciate your watching!
You have heard right. Grand Canyon is more than what meet the eyes.

Sure, it’s not like the earth is our home or anything

Whats the point of keeping it natural if no one can see it
@@nsiddnt Not everything is meant to be seen and be disturbed by people.
It's a very interesting story. For some reason, the word "forbidden area" excites me😀👍
I was trying to draw interest, it sounds better than "closed."

Mostly I agree, I am not sure about the closure of Cave of the Domes, after it had been open for so many years, though. Thanks for watching.
They're protecting the truth about history. It's vile behavior.

@@GC-Hiker You should do a video about your cave adventures! I bet they are good stories!

I want the alien stories to be true. 🤣.
Thanks for these videos. This one makes me want to check out the less-travelled areas of the canyon.

Hey, it's Steve martin, " born in arizona, move to Babilonia." Maybe he knew something before his time! 😮
No doubt! An interesting coincidence.
Looks like a good excuse to keep people out
Potentially. . .
You close caves that should be explored……The world changing discoveries that could be made for are closed for bats……..
Don’t agree with that at all
That is a very valid point. I think they have closed all the caves with a rather broad stroke of their authority.
It is pronounced "Kai bAb," not "Kai bOb."
Thanks again, I think I have the other pronunciation programmed into my head.
