Brad Meader I just saw them a couple of months ago in San Diego. Kele was enthusiastic throughout the whole set and the band sounded amazing. I wouldn't knock them too much
They were entertaining in Melbourne tonight but I was pretty shattered they did not play this song. I don't believe the newer material held up as well or got as bigger crowd reaction as songs from early albums. Kele sounded great and Louise Bartle impressed me live on the drums, big smile, worked hard.
like, a gay black dude is told that he will never get to frontman a alternative rock band, and everybody rejects them st the beginning but they get really popular in the end
Fucking hell. Silent Alarm is a masterpiece. This band was great, despite of lack of click track for the drummer which drives me a little anxious as well as blows my head. Bloc Party is such an emotional and powerful band!
I don't know why it matters if he's black or white. He's an amazing artist and I love listening to em. But I don't know why they haven't been around. I guess they stopped playing for some reason. I don't know why but I hate that they aren't playing anymore.
I was there- it was great...what I didn't know at that time was that earlier that day my cousin had died in London of an accidental drug overdose. Found out when I came home from Reading
This Song has loads of emotion, passion and energy. I love those guys. Silent Alarm is pure gold
Does not get any better than Matt Tong.
I wish we could have a camera on him the entire song.
And Gordy.
Unless it’s M Tong in an M thong.

The actual best. Love them, gotta be one of the greatest Alternative acts of all.
like a real band!!
If the word epic needs to be applied to something. ...it's that amazing drummer. What a band.
You can tell how tight and close these band members are. They are so in sync
Not always around this period! Kele often did his own thing and the others had to keep up. Brilliant performance though.

Man, I would love for Kele to have this same level of enthusiasm when performing these days. Bloc Party just isn't the same as it used to be :-(
