SPCparamus8900 I make EAS Videos too. Check them out, and I'm available if you need help. Make sure to comment on one of my EAS Videos if you need help. Also, maybe we can collab sometime!
i think a storm like this in LA is extremely unlikely, it couldve been in oklahoma or some spot that has storms somewhat like this would be better, keep up the good work tho
Southern California can get nasty storms. Just look at the monsoon season and they get a couple of flash flood warnings each year. A tornado warning is less likely, but possible. I intentionally didn't escalate any warnings to emergency levels because that's not common in SoCal.
Right around 2:40 I do believe the Text-to-Voice guy mentions gusty wands? Just a heads-up! e: Seems to happen whenever the voice tries to say 'winds.'
TTS voices; at least the ones I use, tend to confuse wind (v.) with wind (n.). There's not much I could do to change that. In real life, NWR voices do mispronounce locations and one station I know mistakes "or" for "OR [Oregon]".
@@dewpoint8900 stations in my area, not only weather radio but FM, also say Oregon instead of ore. You can see this in a few of my EAS catches. I'm based out of the Charleston West Virginia area.
Well I used real examples of alerts for Tom to read. I didn't modify the TTS voice in any way; only added some modifiers to make it sound like it comes from a radio.
@@dewpoint8900 y'know, that's fine. if you have other content you want to do, then do it. this is still one of my favorite eas scenarios though, great job.
This is meant to imitate sounds produced by a radio, so there's a lot of static and relayed sounds. If you don't like it, there are many other scenarios that don't add the extra sound.
As someone who lives in Southern California, I can guarantee that everyone and their mother would be flipping their shit and not knowing a thing about what to do.
Typo noted on some screens in this video. KWO39 should be KWO37 (KWO39 is in Chicago). I need more sleep.

Do you take requests for scenarios?
SPCparamus8900 I actually had this happen to me. My town had part tornadoes part floods. Luckily, my home wasn't damaged. :D
Good for you! Thanks for watching!
SPCparamus8900 YASSS U RESPONDED!! :DD
Description: "...but cranked up to 11."
My mind: *We Are Number One plays but it's earrape*
Lol
Glad to see that you're back.
It's great to be back! :)
I feel like all the guys who make EAS Scenarios are like best buds. Really soon im gonna create a channel and make them too :)
This may be coming from one of the old breed, but Excellent work on this scenario.
The ambient storm noises were a nice touch!
20:26 I don’t know why does this siren sound effect sounds a little similar to the siren from the movie called “the mist”
Great job Paramaus!!! That was really interesting to watch!
Agreed.
"20 minutes later in Chavez Ravine. Clayton Kirschaw blows another post season game." Seriously though, another great presentation!
Lmaoooo that made me die. You a brewer fan?
"Damaging wands," lol
Lmbooo
Fairies are deadly then if that’s the case.
LOL! IKR! Like 1 called Utah Yew ta
Nice job Paramus! I can see you did something similar to my TORE in my Weather Disaster 3 scenario ;). Anyways, great job!
Tbh, I actually just made it up on my own. xD Thanks.
the bg noises are really soothing, especially during the FFW
I like the lil details of the thunder in the backround.

Dude nice vid!
The storm hits home
Name of the siren in the tornado warning?
No idea, the sound was derived from a royalty-free sound website. The description didn't mention anything about the sirens.
My guess is a whelen 4004 and I think I can hear a modulator
As someone whose lived in SoCal for all their life, I know exactly how we'd respond:
" #sendingthoughtsandprayers "
holy shit, that's so true. in reality, we just all sit there and say "sucks to be you."

jnerdsblog sometimes the speech systems NOAA uses don't get words quite right... The ones in Chicago do it all the time...

air raid sirens in Los Angeles County are not operational. Also I hear a Whelen and Orange County is full of them.
Ahh yes, the days of the CRS, and also the days when I was trying so hard to get the Tom voice (and I still am) in this pronounciation style.
I love your eas stuff I love hearing when I have a warning on my phone lol
Friday The 13th Detected! But at least Jason Voorheez / Voorhees should not be there during the spring storm.
Thumbnail from the day after tomorrow
Thanks. California needs that rain, I’m not kidding.
Omg i loved it!
I've wanted to know, what is the font name you use for the scenario?
You should change the sampling rate to 8k hz to make it sound more like a radio
By transmitter near sandburg , it means station WZ2505.
He needs to make one of California falling into the pacific ocean during a really strong earthquake 😆
Not gonna lie, that was a pretty dope storm
I am surprised that they didn't add the city of Montclair in the eas Scenario videos.
Amazing scenario
"here's the latest from the national weather service:"
(demonic screeching)
Bro how did u get Tom's voice to sound closer to what it sounded like on NOAA weather radio?
Well I used real examples of alerts for Tom to read. I didn't modify the TTS voice in any way; only added some modifiers to make it sound like it comes from a radio.
SPCparamus8900 thanks for the input!
Luckily, that storm was south of me and I didn’t get hit by tornadoes.
162.425 Is National Weather Service Paducah KY Transmitter
What do you mean by activations?
That's awesome!
why aint you making scenarios anymore?
Lack of interest, busy life, and immature comments by some people.
@@dewpoint8900 ah I see, dont let the comments get you down I really enjoy these
@@toypilfferer653 It isn't the biggest reason. These do take a lot of time to work on, and I really don't have the time or motivation to make any.

"Gusty *wines."*
Good morning
Is the start real
21:15 Two Tornadoes?! Dang!
What are valid tones? How do they activate anything?
Vaild tones are the beeping that plays before a EAS alert. And jow theu activate anything? Ask google-
Background noise really killed it

The Wines get me every time man XD
It's San Bernardino County in southern California and Riverside County in southern California.
My bad, must've been a typo that slipped past me.
I thought they were both in Southern California
Nice scenario
0:49
My left ear enjoyed this radio broadcast.
Try testing your audio on headphones before uploading.
The modifications I made to the audio were intentionally altered on one side. There's nothing much I can do to balance the audio.
"altered"
I'm assuming you already know I meant the audio is only on one side and it's silence on the other?
Check your headphones, the audio was definitely on both sides on my end. Either that, or an error occurred during the uploading process.
Try plugging in your headphones and watch the video on RUclips.
Just did, it's on both sides.
Strong Wonds LOL SO FUNNY 👍😂😹
As someone who lives in Southern California, I can guarantee that everyone and their mother would be flipping their shit and not knowing a thing about what to do.
True. As a resident in NJ, I wouldn't know how to react to earthquakes.
Don't feel bad, I don't either.
Great video though, and I am looking forward to Part II of your Infection: Act II series!
And wonds lol I loved it it was a very good one
It’s me Ethan
Also 6:20 the SMW ha expired!
Come on man, I have relatives in Orange County!
I totally didn't do this
Hi
At 0:02 it sound like a police siren
Hi wassup

It kills me when it pronounces "wind" as "wine"
