Amazing for us to beat Sweden, although with a lot of luck. HIstorically Sweden is a top Women Football team: Runners-up at the 2003 World Cup, 3 European Championships (1987, 1995, and 2001) and third at the 1991, 2011, 2019, and 2023 World Cups. Amazing. .

Lmao this ref. That red and penalty was funny.

I watched the entire game; Spain outplayed Sweden in the second half, but the red card and penalty were both erroneous. I watched the foul at the conclusion of the second half several times and observed that the Spanish player tugged the Swedish defender's jersey before another Spanish player made the pass, as you can see here. Is it a ruse by the Spanish player? It's difficult to imagine that the referee made such a call from afar, especially given that the game lacked VAR support. A draw would be the best outcome for both sides. But it's a shame that Sweden lost in the last minutes of the game due to a faulty referee decision.

Losers always complain. Small mentality. No wonder never won the World Cup😂

@@andythecrimson8877 - When something is wrong, you complain. Only whimps accept to be treated unjustly.
But you would obviously accept that.

@user-xk8kf9wo6e - Yes, and to be more precise: Sweden didn't just lose in the last minutes of the game, they lost in the last seconds of the game. It was 13 seconds left of added time when the ref blew the whistle for penalty. Very frustrating, indeed.

@@gudagaava My main gripe is with the referee. Regarding the players, they always have a winning mindset, so they will sometimes take acts such as pulling shirts, pushing people, etc., but I have no intention of targeting the players because the decision on the field is up to the referee. The match results also show that Spain has a great playing style and a high level of ball control. Despite having a modern low-touch style of play, Sweden is still unable to entirely dominate the ball game, which leads to numerous errors in the last minutes of the match. Only Japan can currently defeat Spain in the World Cup. But, in that game, I still believe the Spanish players played subjectively and committed numerous errors. Football is for viewing and enjoying; yet, people who adore or love football are usually uneasy when their favorite team loses at home. I am quite upset, but I still appreciate the outcome of the game because, despite what happened and is happening after the World Cup, Spain performed admirably.

@@andythecrimson8877 I respect the outcome of the football game and only have one complaint about the referee. When I watch a film several times and slow it down in the last minutes of a match, I give my personal opinion about the player. On the football field, however, players play with the goal of winning in mind, therefore using tricks is prevalent, and the referee is the one who decides if the action is correct or not.
Sweden may not have won the World Cup, but they have been in the top five in women's football for many years. Could you say the same thing if Spain couldn't win the World Cup and lost to Sweden in this soccer match?
