Coast Fly....i have learned a great deal from you. Not only new patterns but technique. I wish i could contribute and help you out but due to illness I cant. My fly and jig tying days are almost over but I get piece and enjoyment watching your videos. I missed your channel when you went to members only but totally understood. I wish you and your family the best.

I totally understand.. I’m not sure if I want to call it a mistake but sometimes a row of bad events or experiences force you to kinda make decisions and take a step back and rethink a lot of things before you do something stupid. Let’s just leave it at that. ☺️

Costfly.....it wasn't mistake...at the time things were happening and I totally understood. The only thing was I missed you big time. It today's business world youbha e to do what's best for you and your family becauae if you dont....none of this matters. I am just glad I had the pleasure of finding your channel and enjoying your times behind the vise. Even the music you play in the back ground calms me.

OMG, I have been using a fly of my own tying that looks something similar, a tail of hot orange craft fur, badger or grizzly hackle next to that 1st body section of rainbow dubbing, 2nd hackle, 2nd body of rainbow dubbing a head hackle and a orange glow brite head #4-10, it’s being catching sea-trout from spring to autumn, that’s a nice pattern too 👍🏻

Nice fly! But the lead eyes are a bit too close to the hook eye…. Made that mistake myself. 😎👍

Thanks! I use the gsp from Verbund. G02 it’s called. Super strong and very thin. A bit slippery which takes a bit of getting used to but I use this thread 95% of the time.
