Evercade Alpha will be launching in November 2024, with pre-orders beginning in June.

No shade here but I'd like too point out just make your own and the cost will be cheaper also it's a fun project.
That is really questionable. Just the parts for something worthwhile to make it a great system would be about as much. A Pi5 and half the budget is gone already.
But it's of course sure to offer more entertainment if one is at least somewhat into crafting tangent hobbies. :)

Emulation has been legal for decades. Now, if you download a game that you don't own from the internet and emulate it, that's illegal.
