They would pit her with Katy and Prism, which was more mainstream pop of course, the eccentricity and uniqueness of ARTPOP turned off a lot of people (not me, I found NOTHING wrong with it...), Perez Hilton started a trend of hating ARTPOP because he hated Gaga after that interviewing incident, VERY messy managing (Dope was a single... Venus was only promotional...) etc. It's so sad though, this is her best work yet and people only now have started to realize it :(

I was on weed listening to this song and then I imagined that weed is kind of a female entity. With my eyes closed, I could imagine her. She was very sexy, kind of scary, evil, idk, but she was good inside. She was made of plants all over her body, had green skin and also had pink details on her (I just noticed that this is the perfect description of Zyra from League of Legends bwahaha I think my brain got the reference from there hahaha). She was controling me with the song, and somehow I felt like I was her at some point (when Gaga is introducing Mary Jane Holland haha) I was at a stage xD. The funny thing is that I didn't knew the lyrics. English is not my first language, I do know english but I've never paid attention to the lyrics. I couldn't even remember that Mary Jane is a name for marijuana but somehow my unconcious remembered it from some place, and I was going through a lot of bad stuff cause I had a bad trip with marijuana the last time I used it before this one. This one trip, that I "saw" marijuana, I was really scared of trying it again because of that bad trip, but then, with this vision, I recognized that the problem was not the weed, but my anxiety, the fear inside me. So, what I could learn with that is that weed may be evil and makes you experience horrible things, but that's just because that problem is inside of you and u need to fix it somehow. That's why I thought "she" was bad, because she made me see the wrong things inside me that I needed to fix. Mary Jane Holland is above all, a badass female xD I have the craziest thoughts when I'm on weed and I love it! I could right a book just telling all the things that I imagine when on weed hahahaha Love this song! 😅❤️
