    Dang it! I do an awesome Michael Silverblatt impression and have done it for awhile for my mom who finds him very annoying. But now I see Odenkirk has it on tape... Such is life

    I kind of need to know if this was done out of love for Michael Silverblatt or if this was done merely at his expense.

      To paraphrase the late Norm MacDonald, you can't convincingly impersonate someone if you don't respect them. Now, regardless of the truth value of that statement, it's clear that Odenkirk is more than simply a casual observer of Silverblatt's foibles. I think it's safe to say that he is an admirer of him.
