      @@ioptimizerealty I had a brand new $600 Honda Hawk 305cc motorcycle in 1967 I was so proud to own. So cool. I polished and cleaned that thing until it slipped thru the air effortlessly.

    With the shortage of pilots, women are so needed now. Power to your daughter.

    • @jamesburns2232
      @jamesburns2232 Год назад

      There's not as much a shortage of pilots as there is of "qualified" pilots. There are a lot of pilots. There just aren't enough qualified pilots. The word "qualified" carries a lot of weight when it comes to hiring pilots. Ratings and pilot experience are scrutinized by the airlines to make sure they are hiring qualified people to add to their payroll. Some pilots pay to fly. Others are paid to fly. 🥸

      Thank you. I feel the same way. I want strong, independent daughters. I was happy to introduce this daughter to women military pilots at Oshkosh.

    Thank you for the ride along! Great fun, departure from an unmonitored airport then arrival into very busy airspace... My only minor issue is we saw lots of Dad's face but nil of the competent co-pilot :-)

    Hello from Beaumont, TX, KBPT. Another MSFS flier here. I fly the Honda Jet Elite 2 on MSFS and truly love it. I use a program called Air Manager which lets me put the instrument panel on three touch screens that are below the three main viewing monitors for outside the jet. I love the E2 and if you ever get the chance to fly one, don't do it unless you plan on upgrading yourself. It will truly spoil you. Gotta love the auto throttle.
    It's really great seeing you teach your daughter how to handle the G3000 and the GTC's. She'll make a great pilot one day. I had this video in my reccomendations and now subscribed. Can't wait to see your videos.

    On Takeoff/Departure didn't you mean "a little bit of left aileron" - instead of left rudder for the crosswind...? Great video by the way.
    because I saw you inputting aileron left and was happy you didn't use rudder to combat the xwind.

    • @ioptimizerealty
      @ioptimizerealty  Год назад

      With the HondaJet, you always want to track that centerline with rudder. And, on a crosswind, you will use aileron on the ground too.
      Landing the HondaJet in a crosswind is similar to landing a big jet, in that, you use the crab technique and kick out the crab and hold centerline with the rudder, at the very end. Upon wheels on the runway, it is aileron into the wind, but track the centerline with that rudder.

    Just a quick question about your nav overlay on the smaller picture window showing over 350mph at only 6,000ft. Did I miss the “high speed” climb clearance, or is that nav overlay incorrect?? Lol.

    • @ioptimizerealty
      @ioptimizerealty  Год назад +1

      I use a climb speed of around 200 knots indicated. So, it was probably a telemetry error. Yup, the HJ is fast, but not that fast :-)

    What's the max speed of thatt Honda? That plane is climbing quick for a light jet

    • @ioptimizerealty
      @ioptimizerealty  Год назад

      Certified top speed of 422 knots true

    • @ioptimizerealty
      @ioptimizerealty  Год назад +1

      The best climb speed is 210 knots. I think there may have been a telemetry error as even with a great tailwind, there was no way I was doing 350 mph over the ground in a climb. In cruise, at FL320 she will do 422knots. Up higher, a little slower. It's .72 mach max speed.

      I do wish the HondaJet had a yoke or side stick, not a huge fan of pedestal yokes. I figure for the PIC not an issue but for passengers sitting right seat does it get in the way?
