Wow! without Kelce and only two passes thrown to Hill, in addition to Mahomes sitting out almost the entire 4th quarter. The Chiefs could have put up 40+ points if they wanted to go for the jugular. Much respect to "Big Ben" he did so much for this game over the years. Sunset seems to be closing in.

Chiefs offense was great, but the defense is hot red, holding them to 3 points all game. Chiefs defense has holding teams to an average of 11 points a game ever since week 8

I was at the game about 30 or 40 yards away from the field and it was amazing that stadium was rocking and loud asf and I loved it.
Nice. Great game to have gone too. I was out running a quick errand before and it started raining and was worried it would really start coming down, which would have sucked. But it never did.
We went too it was our first game I could not believe how loud that place got it's no wonder the Steelers couldn't do anything. They couldn't hear a damn thing!

Chiefs went from historically bad defense before week 8 to historically good defense after week 8, I find that insane.

Who’s here after Steelers made the playoffs and are playing the chiefs and are looking for any sort of comfort or hope going into the wild card game
And again, the Kansas City Chiefs host the divisional round in their house in Arrowhead for the 6th consecutive time and go on to show that even without Travis Kelce, this team has heart, the depth, and the motivation to win and that they don’t need all of their star players on the field to win football games. Other players stepping up has been key to their success as well.
From 3-4 and being last in the division, to being 11-4 and winning their division is just stellar and you love to see it.

The chiefs beat them so bad they turned the game off in the third quarter, but because there was nothing else to but on, they just went back.

When I saw Chad Henne coming with the chiefs at the 6 I was horribly angry and then they showed us the Raiders Broncos game which was already over and that even more infuriated me. NFL doesn't want me to see a backup QB appearance near to the endzone.

I've been a Steeler fan for 45 years and never saw them play this badly, time for a major overhaul.
Starting with Ben retiring, it’s sad to see how he’s declined the past few years but everything runs its course.

That loss came after an 11-0 start. Plus, it was a playoff game. They played well for the majority of the season.

When the Chiefs were 3-4 they had the toughest schedule rest of the way in the NFL.
Now that theyve won 8 in a row, teams are either washed up or missing players.
Last year the knock on the Chiefs were they were barely winning. This year when they beat teams easily it's because the other team sucks.
Pittsburgh knocked off the #seed in the AFC last week, this week they suck.

I almost feel bad but then I remember That One game in 2016 and now it finally feels avenged
Clinching the AFC West for the 6th consecutive year. #1 AFC seed(so far). When the Chiefs click on ALL cylinders offensively and defensively, WATCH OUT. It was also a bit irritating that the steelers didn't just run the clock out at the end. They did anything in their power to score six. More so due to preventing injuries. The game was long gone over yet Tomlin was calling Timouts and Mason Rudolph was trying to play hero ball.
From 3-4 start to 1st seed in the AFC. Last time it happened was 2012 Broncos when they finished 13-3 after starting 2-3.
Tomlin is basically a babysitter at this point.

Yup I know this is a pre-Mahomes fan right here. The no touchdown playoff game where Fisher got called for holding James Harrison to erase Alex Smith finally throwing that TD pass to win the game. So many regular season losses to the Steelers too, usually late in the season vying for playoff seeding. Crazy to see how much has changed since those years lol dude you remember the season we didn’t throw a single touchdown to a wide receiver? Now we have Mahomes for the next ten plus years l🙌🙌🙌

I thought the same thing then realized Randolph was in at QB. I figured they were letting the young gun get some situational prep in.
It's officially time for us all to give Chiefs D coordinator Steve Spagnuolo his full props off the top for turning this defense around, especially after we all threw him under the bus during their early struggles. Now that the offense is back 2 ballin', the Chiefs are back to looking down on the AFC again. The Steelers were made painfully aware of just how far off the pace their franchise truly is.
Spags has usually been a solid D coordinator. Have to remember his past teams, including the Giant's Superbowl winning teams that somehow always had Brady's number. If I'm remembering correctly, even those teams usually started slow on defense.
I remember I kept reading comments of the chiefs losing this game in a close one but boy were they wrong

Without question this is the most complete game by the Chiefs this season. They dominated on both sides of the ball.
I'd agree, it wasn't the most dominant, but definitely the most complete. That 48-9 beatdown on the Raiders was great, but I think KC had a turnover in that game. This was efficient, and clean. Gotta give props to the Steelers #2 QB Rudolph though. He stepped up and delivered with heart, despite the situation. That was a nice run that a lot of QBs would have just laid down on.

The defensive scheme is a moot point when Mahomes has 6-7 seconds in the pocket. No coverage can last that long.
