Finally somebody went beyond Jordan Love and the receivers and talked in-depth about the defense and specifically, Carl Brooks. We've waited a loooong time to see a GB defense that could take control of a game instead of sitting back and giving up the lead. Thank you. And here's hoping...

From 2023 draft, Karl Brooks is one-third of pick 45. Gutey traded back to pick 48 getting an additional 5th round pick (Dontayvion Wicks) and then 48 back to pick 50 (Jayden Reed) with Brooks taken with the 6th rounder picked up in the trade. Sans injuries all should get 2nd contracts. Gutey, mic drop!

    Gilbert "Grave Digger" Brown.
The local Burger King in Green Bay, WI came up with "The Gilbert Burger". It was a double Whopper.
350lbs. And an equally big personality.

I’m a little bit partial because Musgrave is from Oregon and that’s where I live. But he is going to be a superstar I think. I’m also a packer owner so I think it’s great to have players not only Oregon state but also Oregon, and the Pack 12.

I played football for 16 years. In my 16 years. I found that there’s two (2) undeniable traits that separate a good player from that of a stand out to that of a truly great player.
Heart and intelligence. In other words. That’s integrity and high football IQ. You can be the strongest and the fastest player in high school, college or pro ball. But, if you’re just another, lazy, heartless, weak/self entitled idiot? Your teammates, specifically. Your team captains and the coaches will weed you out and bury you UNDER the bench! In the NFL. You have to be prepared to bring your best, your very best. Every single day you’re in the building, the weight room, the locker room and on the practice field. Every day. Your free time is your free time. But….if you don’t know the playbook (with yearly play revisions) inside and out before training camp? You’re an idiot. You’ll have nobody else to blame but yourself. So….. before we start anointing two players as the next potential ring of honor candidates. Let’s wait and see. Let’s waits and see just how emotionally and physically durable both these two players are. Then it’s every year after that. We shall see.

To be very conservative, I predict they are so good this year the NFL changes the rules to say they won a SuperBowl by week 10, then in the playoffs, they win 2 more. But it's not all bad news! In 2025 they win at least 4 SuperBowls. Should get better after that.

    As for Packers sleepers-
Reed is going to explode this year. But he's on a lot of fantasy GM's radars already.
Jacobs could be poised for his best statistical year yet? Big, fast Back in an offense committed to running.
And now defenders can't hip-tackle big Backs??
JJ is going to run wild.
Doubs. He's your sleeper. Great route runner.

There are a lot of young talented guys that Hafley can mold and teach on defense and Lafleur can continue to develop on offense. This year or next year will yield us a Super Bowl.
