Exactly. And speaking of bullies, Trump’s administration began with the sorry spectacle of two billionaires taking poor children’s lunch money. I am 72, and I remember Richard Nixon. For all his corruption, even he was not as callous and cruel as the Trump administration.

The best way I've ever heard Trump's mentality regarding money/trade explained is that, in his mind, you're getting ripped off if you pay for something. You had money, but now the money's gone and you've just got some product you paid for. This is borne out by his notorious reputation for stiffing contractors and more or less just stealing all the time.
It's also the main thrust behind his idiotic trade wars: that less powerful economies like Vietnam who have a giant trade surplus with the US are "ripping us off" because we buy a ton of extremely cheap goods from them and they hardly buy anything from us. It's like saying I have a trade deficit with Taco Bell and they're ripping me off because they don't buy anything from me.

There's only so much to go around the world. It's all about balance! Somebody takes, somebody loses. Trump and his cronies have already taken a lot and the People is gdtting poorer and poorer. Trump isn't finished yet, by far. Think of all the monuments he intends to build. That's what Hitler did, btw. Google Hitler and architecture in Munich and see for yourselves. Heritage is part of a bigger movement that goes back to the businessman's plot and Smedley Butler. Fast forward to the Powell memo (the businessman's plot 2.0 with Reagan as their Butler this time) and its call to arms to the corporate world, soon after heritage was created along with a plethora of other orgs and think tanks and foundations many with deep religious ties. These groups have had a powerful and profound impact on our government and influence both parties to such a degree that the public will is no longer a consideration but a hinderance. In my opinion the entire movement is nothing short of treasonous.

Yeah, and it's REALLY unfortunate that the UK has to kowtow to Israel like the USA. We have wealthy Jewish donors that control the Congress and we have AIPAC that has more money and some very weird connection that ALL of our representatives have with Israel. It was really disappointing to watch BBC interviews and hear your people sound just like our people sound and calling Starmer weak because he's not completely caving to Israel. We have given Israel money in the billions every year not counting the weaponry we get them. I hope the UK isn't doing that, too.

@lindajosendale8979 And vote as early as you can, even if you have to book the day off, just in case there is ANY problem with the data in their system and they've got an old address. (I saw that happen when I assisted with the first electronic election in St Catharines, Ontario Canada. The previous year, everyone's address was correct. Suddenly, the system was spitting out addresses that were previous addresses. One couple said they had moved twice since that address. Give me paper ballots any time.)
