lets take 2 3 4 as an example. your answer will give 4 3 2 as result. But correct answer should be 4 2 3. Therfore I think the problem statement might have some issue.

No I thought the same way but what we forget is while calculating 4 3 2 -> 2^3^4, we first calculate 3^4 then we calculate 2^81 which is very larger than 4 2 3 -> 3^2^4 which is 3^16. So whatever they are doing in the question is correct!
