- Varric challenges Solas' views on his Fisherman Story. Dragon Age Veilguard gameplay reveal mixed with banter from Dragon Age Inquisition.
"Once, in the Fade, I saw the memory of a man who lived alone on an island. Most of his tribe had fallen to beasts or disease. His wife had died in childbirth. He was the only one left. He could have struck out on his own to find a new land, new people. But he stayed. He spent every day catching fish in a little boat, every night drinking fermented fruit juice and watching the stars."
One of my favorite bits of banter, next to the chess game.
Damn wise man. Really hope they don't kill him.
So much more context to that conversations after you figure out Solas is the Fen'harel . You can even come to the conclusion in the middle and end of the game, because Solas always comes attached to some form wolf imagery (tarot) or art. Some of his conversations even hint that he was way older then he seemed. At first I thought he was an ancient elf that worked for Fen'harel, after the conversation about the Orb. After the temple, I knew he was Fen'harel
Wow that's insane
I just want to see orzamarr again
It's like if Veilguard had good dialogue.
played it already?
@@MBOmnis Saw the demo featuring this very scene, except with bad dialogue.
