    at 10:49 you told that to avoid a collision the previous frame should also be free but the forward time should also be free for it to avoid the collision in future then the Vulnerable time should be V=3*Tfr right???

    • @paruldang952
      @paruldang952 3 года назад +4

      The next Tfr will be taken into account by the next station who has to transmit data next. Next Tfr will be counted in vulnerable time for next station.

    • @mahamamir9176
      @mahamamir9176 3 года назад +3

      No, if the current frame is free and we know that all frames are uniform. It is obvious that the next frame will not be collided with the current one.

    00:01 Pure Aloha is a random access protocol for wireless LAN and shared medium.
    01:34 Collision occurs when multiple stations transmit data at the same time.
    03:05 Pure Aloha allows stations to transmit frames on a shared medium.
    04:39 Pure Aloha enables any station to transmit data at any point of time, leading to collision possibilities.
    06:05 Pure Aloha uses a strategy called waiting for a random amount of time to prevent collision.
    07:31 The throughput of Pure Aloha is maximized when frames are of uniform size.
    09:04 In Pure Aloha, collisions occur when multiple frames are transmitted simultaneously.
