I don’t usually like aftermarket rims, but those look really nice. Good choice! I have a 2013 335i with the stock 18s. I like the look of the rims, but they’re wrapped with run flats. Not great.
Heck I'm sticking with 18x8 with 225/40r18 tires becouse of your videos I don't want harsh ride with 19s and dealing with pool holes busting tires and or the rims

Thank you! You can safely run wider rear wheels with X-Drive as long as the rolling diameter is the same front and rear. In fact, BMW sells some AWD cars with staggered wheels from the factory. I recommend using a tire calculator like tiresize.com/calculator/ to compare sizes

Hi Justin, appreciate all the videos you're putting out on the 340i. I had a couple of quick questions and hopefully some viewers here can answer these as well. Any knowledge/advice/info is appreciated.
Wheels - My car came equipped with the 704 staggered 19" wheels and I am desperately trying to find a 18" wheel set cause the 19" isn't for daily driving (in my opinion). The bumps are a bit jarring.
1) I found a 328i owner selling his 18" wheels (400M). Stock M 19" wheels (704M) are 36 offset in the front but the 18" front M wheels (400M) are 34 offset. Is it a direct swap or would I need to use a spacer?
2) Can I transfer the TPMS from the stock wheels to the Apex or any after market wheels?
Tires - Stock tires are 225/45R18 (front) and 255/40R18 (back). But I noticed you went for 245's (front) and 275's (back). If I want to stick to the stock tire sizes, would you still recommend the Pilot Pilot Sport All Season 4's? Will it cause fitment issues?

I fitted at front Toyo 240/40/18 & 255/35/18 good year at rear.Front tyre are higher than rear but rear in corner or humps touching the car body mudguard /fender

It is great fit for F30. I'm for OEM plus also, so what do you think for this F32 setup: M Style 351 OEM from F10 / front 8.5Jx19 ET33 and 9Jx19 ET44 back :) Tires size? 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 will it rub? Thanks for your opinion

Hope someone can answer this. I went with 275/40/18 in the rear. Does anyone know if this will rub? I see majority of people run 275/35/18 so im curious if the bigger soec will rub. Im on stock suspension. 2015 f30 335i.

They still make the ARC-8 but the forged version with the clear finish is discontinued

Hey Justin , can you give me so advice, I just got my car back from the dealer repair shop, they had to replace my front bumper/ fender, my husband backed into my car( by accident) now I just noticed I have over spray on my headlights 🤦🏼♀️ I was just looking at RUclips videos and your video just popped up ! Any advice you can offer or should I go back to the dealer, RUclips was useless. Thank you for any advice !
Personally I would go back to the dealer. They made a mistake and they should be responsible to fix it. You could try one of Mequiars' headlight restoration kits to polish the headlights. Just beware that after you do it once, you'll need to do it every year afterward to maintain them.
Nice review. Would it be to much for (responsible) beginner to go with ST 765 R? Would it be great to grow in with this bike. It is absolutely my favourite naked atm.

I had a rays fake(assumed it fake because there was no branding on the inner barrel) but it was crazy light, around same weights as a 225/45 tyre! why is that??

Apex clams that the flow formed ARC-8 are also 18.7 pounds per wheel. How is that possible if the forged ones are 18.7? Are the flow formed wheels actually 18.7 pounds? If not, what is the actual weight of the 18" flow formed apex arc-8. If anyone has the answer, please lmk!

I have a 2013 BMW 335i, F30, N55 engine with staggered fitment. I use Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ all season tires. Front 225/40ZR19 and Rear
255/35 ZR19. Fronts are BMW part #36116796256, Other part# 796256 OEM 19x8 ET36 72.6mm CB. Rears are BMW part# 3611679625 other part# 796257 OEM 19x8.5 ET47 72.6mm CB. What are my options? I love the forged wheels you purchased. How can I get them for my staggered fitment in 19 inch wheels? Please advise.

Did you notice any performance improvement after installing these light APEX forged wheels?
I cant say I feel any big difference while daily driving. Maybe slightly less hesitation when accelerating from a stop. The performance difference is probably more noticeable on a track. The main benefit to me is the strength of the wheel. They should be more resistant to bends or cracks compared to cast/ flow formed.
@@justinbuice A while ago I installed the Apex EC-7 on my 435i GC and I thought I felt some performance improvements …. but I think it’s only in my head 🤨.

Need help please 🙏 I have a 2012 328i base model. Just bought a set of vmr 801 18x8.5 offset 35 all 4 wheels the same. I need help with tire size specs that I should put on the front n rear. I have buncha bolt ons n bout to do the stage 2 tune. Wanna make sure I have the right tire sizes. Please any information that you can give would be great!

I had a car couple years back that came with 18-in wheels and when I upgraded to 20-in I had to get the computer reprogrammed because the car had a little jerk in the transmission and the MPH we're off a little bit but after the update it fixed both.. do you guys know if that's going to be the same issue if I put 20-in wheels on my F30?
