I recently discovered your channel. You are very informative. It would help me if you linked where the parts came from like your toe, camber, control arm etc, etc.. Keep up the great work.
Andrew DeShazo From what I found Hardrace, Megan racing, Godspeed, and truhart make adjustable arms for the cb’s. Look into those brands and you’ll find what you need.
Hey man on the rear axle nut what u used because the one from a prelude won’t tread that great in like it has the big washer too let me know man just nervous my wheel fall off..by the way its looking good...I just finished mines but just having trouble on the rear on the axle nut
What year & model did you use for your rear setup? I am currently struggling to finish up my rears on my cb7, but after seeing this, I am strongly reconsidering my position.
Winston Buzon for the rear disc conversion I just used the rear trailing arms off of an ex cb with oem rear disc brakes. And for the 5 lug conversion I used 97-01 prelude rear hubs and 02-06 RSX rear rotors.
Cb7s dont and I repeat dont really need camber or toe adjustment, all need is longer bolts and a few washers. The front is what you have to worry about when being lowered, and really all you need to do (instead of buying adjustable upper ball joints or the camber kits and cutting some of the metal by the upper strut mounts) just have a shop do your toe and you'll be gucci. And how do I know all of this is because I owed(my baby) a 1990 1 owner cb7 coupe and went through front tires almost ever month and I wanted even dumped. I was on neuspeed yellow race springs and good struts not coilovers.
Great video and highly informative. I have a CB7 and was thinking about converting my rear brakes into disc brakes. where did you get all of the rear suspension parts from? where did you buy the knuckle, for example, and which parts do you need to change in order to do the conversion process? Thanks in advance for your help!
Jayquan Santiago honestly got the toe arms off eBay... if I remember correctly they are truhart toe arms. The camber arms are Megan racing and the rear control arms are function and form which I got directly from them.
very informative video. I was reading online about having to change a proportioning valve or something? did you run into any issues on too much brake power in the rear?
If you’re only swapping to rear discs yes you want a prop valve from an accord with rear discs. I did the Rl calipers at the same time. And with the RL calipers up front and the discs in the rear I didn’t have nay issues with proportioning.
Im getting ready to swap from a 4 lug to 5 lug on my 90 lx accord
Its really coming together man. Can't wait to see it all complete!
Josiah J Mejia thank you man!

Christopher Elrod yeah next time I’m down there I’ll make a video on that!

Orlando Morales you have to use the rear axle nut off of a 92-97 mazda 626
@@JaayPeeBuilt Did you leave the spindle washer on when you used the Mazda 626 axle nut or discard it and just use the Mazda nut?

Love your channel brother. Thanks for the video.
Did you use rsx calipers for the rears ?
What kind of rotors did you use for the back?
Not necessarily I got a camber arm (yes toe is what eats tires) but mine hasn't been out of spec to much. It's a little sketchy in the rain though

He got the rear knuckle and trailing arm from a 92 or 93 EX in the junkyard.
What cables did you for the rear because I have drums and I only have 1 In the video u had a split cable
I used the factory ex cables that came with the rear disc conversion I got at the junkyard
@Jaay Pee Built appreciate the response and good luck with new accord build man I love the content I hit up on the gram also
Where did you buy your tow arms, camber arms and control arms from?
Jayquan Santiago honestly got the toe arms off eBay... if I remember correctly they are truhart toe arms. The camber arms are Megan racing and the rear control arms are function and form which I got directly from them.
Good video. Would of been nice having videos like these for us cb7 guys back in the day. Subscribing
Yeah man all the info is only in forums. So I wanna put more stuff on youtube to show people these CB's are dope too!! And much appreciated
@@JaayPeeBuilt do you know if the 5th gen rears are the same as 4th gen?
@@kailani112 they are almost identical! the only thing you need to do is cut the knuckle where the LCA mounts. It's actually pretty easy.
Hey bro I just did the swap on the back aswell on mine ... But the axle nut don't grab a lot of thread what did you do to get yours right
Gerardo Ortega you can use the axle nuts off of a 92-97 Mazda 626
The e brake cable and break cable are all the same right? The only thing u changed was the rotor and breaks right?

Jaay Pee Built Sweet, thanks for the reply. I was also planning on doing the rl swap in front at the same time. thanks again
Can I use the stock studs? And do I need spacers?
A&L and pets no you don’t need spacers I just used them because of the wheels
@@JaayPeeBuilt cool thank you
Didnt the EX models already come with disc brakes all around?
All SE models did from 90-93, only 92-93 EX models had rear discs.
Where can I find the 5 lug conversions??
Alysa Lewis you will most likely have to look for parts at a junkyard or maybe eBay
What car are they from I think this person was asking
This one what rotor and caliper u used please and thank you
Weak. Missing the important part of the video out.
