I remember watching you when this series just started, so proud to see how far it’s become. Almost 100k let’s go
Popcap, give this loyal guy some sort of special thing like a pan next to his name or like a sandbox mode. This guy has been making videos, mostly based on PvZ Heroes for over 7 years and is still thriving to this day. He’s the reason why people play this game. And he hasn’t been complaining about it ever, and even if he did, it was never serious.

6:42 California rolling isn't actually a 1/27 chance (6:16 is what Fry was referring I think), it's rather a 4/27, which is higher than a 1/9 chance (1/9=3/27), which means California rolling is more likely than rolling double threes. This could explain why they happen more often than we think.
(For anyone wondering why it's a 4/27, the logic I used was simple: in how many scenarios do you fill 8 or more of your block meter in three shots?

There are 33 Plant tricks, and Lightspeed Seed gets two of them.
So chances of getting any one trick from Lightspeed Seed is just 1/33.
However I’m not really sure what the chances of getting two of the same trick are. I prob just don’t care enough to do that lol

Not both being hammers.
The chance of getting a hammer as you mentioned is 1/33 for either one.
The easiest way to do it is (32/33)*(32/33)
Which gives us the probability of not being a hammer.
A little over 96% of the time.
Meaning the chances of getting a hammer (or any trick) from lightspeed seed is a little under 4%
A little bit of knowledge no one asked for: the probability of one event ocurring *and* another event ocurring is the probability of the first one times the probability of the second one (Conjuring a trick *and* conjuring the same trick: 1/33 * 1/33 = 1/1089)

I am curious how you got to 6%...
To get to what, from my own knowledge and other comments, I'm fairly sure is the correct answer, you can calculate the chance of the event NOT happening. Since there are 33 plant tricks, the chance of NOT getting a hammer (or any specific plant trick) is 32/33. The chance of this happening twice is 32/33 x 32/33 which equals about 96.97%. This means that the chance of getting at least 1 hammer is about 3.03%, and I think some people rounded up which is how they got 4%
