Simon being happy actually makes me happy. He’s the kind of guy who thinks too much, works too much and criticized himself too much so I’m glad he’s enjoying life more and more these days - he deserves it.

i'm happy for simon that he's in a much better place now, and i kinda relate with him too. Last year i was in the worst stage of my life too and watching that video at that time really hit me hard. Not quite there yet but it's so much better than last year and I feel like now there's something going on in my life.
So if anybody's having a rough time, remember things will get better eventually. Don't give up and take care of yourselves. Everything's gonna be alright.

NGL from just the video surface, Simon looks like a guy that just enjoys partying and not really a hard worker, but from his long streams and videos like this, you can see he really tries hard in his channel, sidemen videos and twitch, juggling all these everyday is mad stress, even though he say he is talentless in some videos but the determination to do all this at a high quality is something I wish to do consistently, I applaud this lad!

Simon was the first guy from the sidemen I started watching and seeing his growth over the years has been so good to see. Deffo one of the GOATs of the RUclips scene.

Els, I love her. She's entertaining, and I just feel like she's so relatable with the fear of growing up and thinking 30 is a big age, because I was the exact same last year. I really hope her presenting career goes well and she's just as happy next year, if not more.
Gib, the way he laughed and joked at everything... I can't tell if he's just in a perfectly good space and his mental health is chipper, or he's not going the greatest right now. Either way, I can't wait for his next boxing match.

Simon, wow he seems so much better. He seemed so much greyer last year, like- tired, worn, just sick of it... And it's just such a nice feeling to see that this year, all though there isn't as much loud positivity- he seems genuinely happy. Contented. It's nice to see he's doing well, because I used to have some sort of disliking to him, but now... Simon's just a class guy.

You can really tell how much of an effect covid has had with these interviews. All of them seem more positive with everything. Probably due to the fact that the UK was in lockdown this time last year was why everyone was so depressed.

I love videos like this , you kinda get to see and understand these selected people and how they feel on a real level without their “status” it’s probably such a realisation on how much they’ve achieved in only 1 year. No matter if it’s financially , Satiability or just their mentally towards life , it’s lovely to see how they react and acknowledge the growth no matter how big or small ✌🏼

Such a great video but my only gripe is it would be better to ask them the question, have them answer it, and THEN show them their answer from last year after instead of before. I think we would see an original, uninfluenced answer and that would avoid them just saying "yeah, same as last year".

This video is so powerful to have them look back and see from the last year to now is unreal. The growth from them is inspiring.
I feel people who are scared to age, don't age well. When you embrace it, you look younger than you are. When I turned thirty it was awesome. I was so glad to leave my 20s. I felt like a full-grown woman. It's nice to see people's growth in these videos. Growth is living.
I am an overthinker so when I just turned 20 like 2 months ago, I started worrying about ageing a day or two before my birthday and started thinking about what actually happens when we die. I know I am still young but hitting my 20s made me think about how fast time is going especially because of the fact that my 18 and 19 years of age was being stuck in my house during the whole lockdown so it felt like I couldn't really have fun in my late teens due to isolation.
But then I realised that time is a man made concept, I am still the same person as I was 2 years ago and I can still have fun and not worry too much about getting older because it's just a natural process that happens to everyone.
Miniminter got much more handsome in a year. The beard's looking great!
Man this is actually so crazy. I hope he keeps this up.
