    There's no inflation here, just corporate greed. Here in Oz, we have monopolized supermarket, banks, hardware store, insurances. What inflation?

    Imagine owning a private entity with a monopoly on creating money out of thin air, charging interest (more money from thin air) as your business model, and having politicians and their military to enforce it. This kind of privilege, in the hands of a few, could have significant consequences for the world.

    The only real inflation is rent induced by high immigration and shortage of housing but most of all by property owners passing on to their tenants the higher cost produced by higher interest rates... Who would have thought? Interest rate rises are inflationary but hey, the banks love them.
