I just posted a similar video a couple days ago, but threw in the CT toys version as well. I’m gonna do another video with the two pack with Carnage, also. All just absolutely amazing figures. Quality video.
Both to me are equally awesome . There are things you can do with the retro Spidey you can't do with the secret wars figure and with the secret wars Spidey figure you can do what the retro version can't do both are just awesome . Still but the new secret wars version spidey is what we guys from the 80s have been waiting for so it has an edge . By the end of the day it's nostalgia.
Glad to hear from you again 🙏 thanks for watching. Definitely, the nostalgia is strong with the Secret Wars Wave. Happy holidays and a great new year to you. Cheers 🍻
Merry Christmas to you too. I appreciate your intention to show these two together and let people decide which one is best. You said nothing about the QC issues that are plaguing the Secret Wars Spidey tho. The fuziness on the chest logo and different shades between upper and lower half, the twirls in the plastic mold (especially but not limited to the biceps area), the black tone inconsistencies among different body parts, some being lighter than others, the comically large feet, which aren't so annoying on the AF Spidey because of the red color, and lastly, the buck choice, Spidey being a regular adult size character in Secret Wars comics and not a teenager. The only redeeming quality of this new figure is the new head sculpts, which are both nice, but not enough for me to want it in my collection. I sold mine the next day I received it.
Thanks for the detailed comment 🙏 personally I do not prefer the small teenage Spider-Man body mold, feels as a downgrade from the retro spidey. Btw He is not the only small figure in this wave. The figure's strongest quality is the homage to the old secret wars, and that's all. If Hasbro added a Peter Parker head would it redeem it? Who knows. Thanks again 🙏 Cheers 🍻
@friendlypiranha9334 thanks, the qc issues you pointed out are on the sculpted details? My copy did have a chip on the in certain parts but was not noticeable because it's an all black plastic body.
I wish they hadn't used the teenage first appearance body for this, Spider-Man was well into adulthood at the time of Secret Wars. I do like the McFarlane-style head, although the other one with the super squinty eyes looks absurd.

If I had to pick a Best between these 2? It'd be Symbiote Spider-Man 😊 .. but? Secret Wars Spidey? Just as fun. Love the 2 heads!😊
Thanks 🙏 fun figures indeed. Happy holidays and a great new year ahead to you. 🎆

That isn't on MY copy bro. Sometimes? Their is a bad q/c copy in the bunch. It happens. 😔
@@ActionFigureMagic Use the strobe. You'd be surprised. I've already seen it on multiple reviews, so I doubt yours is perfect.

It is really strange Hasbro went teenage, Spider-Man was very much an adult in 1984. Thanks 🙏 have a good and safe holiday. Cheers 🍻
Exactly, he should be the same size as the amazing bag man spiderman....seeing as it's the SAME EXACT TIME FRAME.,AND STORY LINE.😂
@@BRIANMASON1202 Thanks 🙏 spot on. Cheers 🍻 have a happy new year ahead
