      I've got a fully wired one now as well with a direct feed to my phone.
      Now the nights are drawing in, I think there will be a lot of trouble.

    I have this alarm! Yes it is very loud however I do have a couple of faults. OK as mentioned u can plug it in instead of batteries but don't supply the mains adaptor? Also I tryed it in my shed in the dark and when it detects you it flashes once well I'm no expert in the field but if you see a light that's telling you where it is to silence it! So be sure if you get one chuck some blue tac over the light!

      Really smart thinking covering the light.

      Hey james I had the same issue with mine but instead of the blu tac I just rustled up a small electronic black out curtain rail also with a PIR motion sensor fitted and secured the alarm in the centre so if an intruder arrives the alarm will activate then i have the PIR setting on the curtain rail to engage after 2 seconds from the alarm activation thus closing and hiding the alarm so the intruder doesnt know where it's coming from

    Jimmy
    How long does the alarm stay on?
    And does it reset itself after it has gone off?
    Cheers Gavin

    • @JimmyTheMower
      @JimmyTheMower  Месяц назад

      Lasts about 60 seconds I think 🤔
      I'm not sure if it does reset itself either.
      Those are both, very good questions

    That's nice...motion sensing much better than attaching sensors to the door with an alarm pad wired to it.

    Does anyone know how to make a additional battery alarm siren to plug into the 3.5mm jack plug on the top of this unit? You can't buy them anymore from yale.

    • @JimmyTheMower
      @JimmyTheMower  2 года назад

      If you take a look on amazon you can find some 12v sirens and even 12v air horns.
      You would just have to wire them to a small jack plug.
      Hope that helps
      Jimmy
