Hi Dena! I'm amazed by your beautiful finishes! Wow!! You have really been productive! You certainly inspire me!! I will pray for your hubby and ask God to prevent any tick-related disease! God is faithful! Enjoy your stitching!!
Susan, thanks so much for the kind words regarding my finishes. Most of all, thank you for your prayers for my hubby and for your encouragement. Happy Stitching to you as well. Dena
Wow, Dena! All those finishes! I love them all, but especially Mr Mittens! I’m having a monogamous May, trying to finish a couple of big pieces that have been hanging around for quite a while! Happy stitching!
Lynette, isn't it amazing what we can accomplish when we stitch on a piece for a dedicated amount of time? Which two projects are you trying to finish? So glad you like Mr. Mittens. Best of luck to you in your monogamous May stitching. Dena
@@halfstitchcrossstitch2456Hi again Dena! So far I’ve been working on Spring Quaker by Lila’s Studio. It is almost done and I’m hoping to finish it today. Then I will move on to Peacock and Pomegranate by Cottage Garden Samplings which may take a week to finish. I’m not sure if I’ll fit in another one as I have my 2 WIPGO pieces to stitch on and they are down for 5 days each. We shall see!
Hi Dena - what a joy it has been to see all your finishes, fantastic! Lovely to see you and Cocoa too, you are so sweet together. I hope your hubby is fine now and his bite is healed. Have a lovely time stitching and here's to lots more May finishes, Teresa 🪡🧵♥
Teresa, thanks so much for the kind words regarding my finishes. I am currently working on meeting my monthly goal of stitching one additional room on Kringles. I have almost finished the room, then I have to stitch part of the sign underneath it. My hubby's bite is still there, but appears to be getting better. We still don't know if he was exposed to Lyme's disease and won't for a few more weeks. But, fingers crossed he was not! Hope you are having a wonderful week of stitching! Dena
Sharon, thanks so very much for stopping by to visit. I hope you got some stitching in while you were here. I appreciate your kind words about my patterns. Happy May stitching to you as well. Dena
Hi Dena, wow!!!! so many finishes and they are all gorgeous. I would like to be a fast stitcher like you. I am looking forward to seeing them fully finish. I hope your husband will be fine and I will pray for a negative diagnosis. Cocoa really loves to play, big hug to her. Happy stitching my friend.💝🐕🪡
Francine, thanks so much for the kind words about my finishes this month thus far. I am also looking forward to fully finishing these items. I appreciate the prayers for my husband to have a negative diagnosis for Lyme's Disease, but it will be three more weeks before we can accurately test for that. Cocoa sends her love and thanks you for the hug. Happy Stitching to you! Dena
Hi Dena, great to see you today as always. So you've gone from frogging a ton of stitches to finishing everything in sight! I laughed when your friends said you were showing off! So funny, I was thinking "Dena, slow down, give us all a chance to catch up!" You're finishes look gorgeous - those gifts are going to be treasured. I watched your latest video last night and was so happy to hear you are enjoying the letter fairy again now that you are able to give it more time. I need to finish my monthly portion of my annual piece this week as well. I have started working on it, but had a very busy day yesterday. Happy Stitching! Dena
Mr Mittens is so cute. I think the patch work quilt idea is great! Fabric the colors in the stitch would really make it pop. You are on fire with your finishing ❤
Michele, thanks so much for the feedback on the quilt. I did look at the stand I have that I could put the mini quilt on for display purposes and it will not fit. My piece is just a bit too wide once you put the sashing on it. However, I think I have another great idea for finishing. More to come.....
Great stitching and finishing! I love that you are getting gifts done early. What a sense of accomplishment that is! Your trip to Canton sounds like you guys had a great time. "I am a Needlesmith" turned out sooo pretty. ❤ I pray everything goes ok with hubby's tick scare. I don't hike either. I loved to when I was younger, but never liked camping out. I do like short day excursions, though. Take care, have a happy week of counting those stitches and meeting promps.
Judy, thanks so much for your willingness to comment, both here and on Facebook. I so appreciate it. We did have a fun time in Canton and I got lots of that stitching done there. My hubby and I are also praying that he has no evidence of Lyme's disease once we can accurately test for it. Have a happy week of stitching yourself! Dena
Don't mess around with Lyme! My daughter got it as well as an old neighbor and it is horribly debilitating. The antibiotics should take care of it! But it is so serious. I love hiking, but I'm terribly out of shape, so there's that!
Candra, yes the Lyme's Disease is no joke. Tommy is taking an antibiotic that makes him itch just because it is the best defense! Thanks for chatting. Dena
Jurgita, I enjoy your videos so much and you have had a few finishes already yourself. Thank you for taking some time to visit with me. I hope you were stitching! Dena
I get cramps in my hands which is probably the beginnings of arthritis. I have diclofenac gel (prescription) for arthritis in my hip so I take a dollop of that and run-b it on my hands before I stitch. No more pain or cramps!
Love Mr Mittens ! You would'nt want to know that I did the same thing as you on a border of a cloth i was doing for my niece! I had to pull out about 400 stitches ! I found where I had miscounted and have now sorted it out! Normally I do part of the border and then the inner pattern so I don't make this mistake ! Oh well lesson learnt ! I have another niece arriving from South Africa so wanted to give itto her to take it back with her, nowI doubt if I will finished it ! But will try ! Hope you had a lovely Mother's day !
Michelle, so sorry to hear you had a similar frogging incident as I did. Such a time stealer that was. I do hope you will be able to squeeze out enough time to finish the cloth before you deice has to depart. Fingers crossed for you. Dena
Wow Dena!! Hurrah for so many finishes!!🎉 They are all beautiful. 😍 Did your husband make sure the tick's head was still attached when he took it off his leg? That could also be a cause for infection. Having it inside his leg I mean and not just catching a disease. My prayers for a quick recovery for him. Cocoa is a beautiful dog. 😊
Maria, so appreciate the kind words regarding my finishes! My hubby did remove the entire tick and the swelling started a few days later. Thank you so very much for your prayers for his recovery. Dena
I am just amazed at how fast you stitch - your work is spectacular!! Do you ever wear support gloves of any sort while stitching? If so, what they kind? Love your videos 💓
I have tried gloves before that I ordered from Herchners catalog. I didn't feel they helped me at the time. Thanks so much for coming back again to spend some time with me and Cocoa. Happy Stitching! Dena

So many finishes-I’m worried you’re going to run out of things to stitch😂😂. Hope Tommy’s leg is better. Happy Mother’s Day!
Nicole, thanks so much for the concern, but I still have 22 WIPS going. LOLOLOL. Dena
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
Thanks so much Mitzi! Happy Stitching to you this month of May. Dena
love the updates. Hi Cocoa.❤
Pamela, thanks so much for visiting and commenting! Happy Stitching to you. Dena
I love all your finishes!
Thanks Linda! I appreciate your continued support! Dena
Dena
Wow, your finishes are amazing!
Vickie, it was a wonderful week of finishes for sure! Now to work on WIP progress this week. Dena
congrats on those finishes- it's always exciting to get those :)
I have a cream I purchased at the Spa that does wonders for my hands. It is some type of Biocream that soothes away the joint pain thus far. LOL. Dena
@@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 I'll have to check that out, thanks!
Congrats!!! 🌻🌻🌻
Thanks Janet! Happy Stitching to you this month. Dena
Dena
@@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 thanks Dena !
Dena
Happy Mother’s Day ❤
Thanks Holly! Happy Mother's Day to you as well.
Dena
