QBO does not offer sales order processing and is a woeful option for a modern manufacturing company doing international trade. We had to move from QB desktop when it shut down outside USA and no current cloud based software tool other than ZOHO seems to offer full sales order processing integrated with stock and inventory management. QBO is fine if you are a hairdresser, run corner shop, or working from home , but is not even a shadow of QB Desktop which had full sales order functionality. QB customer service was so poor that we had no option but to move elsewhere.

Software Pundit appear to have a biased opinion on these two accounting packages. QB Desktop in the UK does not have the customer service they say it does.

there's also country-specific editions of QBO, and they comply with local legislation. It's not more expensive either, at least not in 01/2023. QBO also allows your firm to grow into the software, without the hustle to have to change platform. QBO is way better in dashboard and reports, with different levels per version. Invoices can be personalize in QBO. QBO has it's on Payments, bringing simplicity to a SMB. Take care with free software's, it's your and your clients info thrown out there with no warranties for you. QBO has a huge structure and all secure protocols with data, complying with international rules, as safe as a bank security.

This review seems to be based on the most advanced versions of the software. Small business does not need the advanced software and I don't think the comparison is accurate, and slightly biased toward QB. I am a QB user and have found it difficult to obtain reports that I need.

Good review. Would have rather see a demo of the product, instead of the same words that are being said, written down in a presentation.

No, no, definitely no. Quickbooks online offers a free TRIAL period (30 days), then (in Australia) a discounted rate of $15.40/mo for three months, and then the minimum price is $22/mo ($264 pa). I used Quickbooks a few decades ago (when it cost a 'one off' amount), but could not justify spending $264 pa as a sole-proprieter start-up. Zohobooks does offer a genuine FREE option (not just a trial period) for business with less than $50Kpa revenue. So, you can use it for free until you make enough revenue to justify paying for accounting software subscription. Not sure why @3:50 you state that the cheapest zohobooks plan is $20/mo when the graphic clearly shows the $0 option ;)
