I still remember the first time this came out. The trailer was already shocking enough then everyone started playing & streaming the demo. People were trying to figure out nonsense stuff to find clues 😂. Because it was so different, everyone went crazy over it. It was great times

I've watched this so many times, and I still smile everytime I see you guys react to this. The excitement was so genuine.
I have watched this reaction over and over and I never seem to become immune to their crazy outburst of excitement the moment the name Resident Evil VII is revealed....and I think it's simply because it's the same way I felt in that moment. I have always loved this series...success or failure...and I always will.
Thank God the game lived up to the hype. Game of the year in my mind.

Clever.
This reveal was the absolute best because it was so unexpected.
No one got up and spoke before the trailer in order to hype the crowd up, they just seamlessly went into it from the last trailer.
The best part was this trailer is a great trailer regardless of brand recognition. The entire theater is already on the edge of their seats dying to know what the name of this game is, and they wait until the last second to reveal the name.
The audience was already hyped before the name reveal because the game looked great regardless.
It's more secretive move than The Phantom Pain
and that song really sent the hype through the roof

Possibly the best game reveal I have ever experienced.
I actually started tearing up during the last guardian trailer. I have no idea why and I was not even in an emotional state before it came on, it might have been the live orchestra combined with my love for those games like shadow of the colossus. either way it was the first E3 in years that had me almost crying for no reason because of the beauty in games.

I had legitimate tears seeing the release date. As if a firm statement that yes, this is a thing, and it's being released. The audience cheering definitely helped.

No one seen that coming, I'm the one who actually gave capcom the ideas to make Re7 and Re8.. they used most of my ideas.. I wrote the development team with ideas for a new kind of resident evil back in 2008. They used my Title Resident evil biohazard for re7.. and told them they should make the game more intense with enemies always pursuing you., then they used my idea for the village. So I'm happy they used my ideas, to further grow the resident evil franchise.

Es que nadie esperaba eso, literalmente Biozard desde el 5 y 6 se había convertido a un juego de disparos y acción, pero en E3 nadie se espero que el 7 regresara al terror adicionalmente no hubo filtraciones de como sería el juego, por eso muchos se sorprendieron al ver el trailer

I LOVE the ending music-video part. The music, the visuals, the pacing. I don't expect RE7's gameplay will be anything like The Kitchen or the Demo, just like P.T. was said to be totally separate from Silent Hills. What excites me about RE7 is that in this video we heard this kick-ass song play, saw a dog's head decompose, a person in a wheelchair inside a mansion with a two level foyer (Spencer and the Spencer Mansion vibes) and we saw a black fungus spreading all over the final shots. This had STYLE, something RE6 lacked. RE6 was devoid of style. People may look back at RE1 and 2 as goofy now, but at the time, that shit terrified me. The tension of having no ammo, and one herb with zombies around every corner, not being sure where to go and getting lost in that mansion... then later discovering all the conspericies and what actually went down there. It was oozing style, which was lost around the time of RE4. Not trying to overhype a game we've never seen, but the promise that it won't be like RE4-5-6 is enough for me.
This is what I've been trying to realise for my self. You've put it perfectly.

They’ve really found their flow with these RE engine games, I absolutely love the clean/gothic UI cues of the mercenaries and in game pop ups .
@@foxclub49er Haha, re-reading my comment from 4 years ago, turns out I was right about RE7. RE8 had a lot of style, too - but actually I am a little worried about the direction it takes the story, feels like RE4 going towards RE6 again. Curious to see what they do with RE9, but I hope they keep a focus on those survival horror themes I mentioned.

If anyone is still wondering how they did the Movement in 2016 Presentation be so Clean and Realistic - the Presentation was made using VR System.
Why ?
Because the game was originally suppose to have a VR Mode, but duo to some incosistents regarding this idea, they decided to cut it - and since they already had a VR Set-up for it, they decided to make the E3 Material with the VR.

looking back from 2020 this has to be the single best E3 ever.
