Nice video, thanks. I've had the X3 NFC for nearly a year. (I usually update my phone every 6-12 months). It's running the new 12.5 UI with no problems. It's been a good phone but lately has been noticeably slower. So, for an update is the F3 for sure.
Yeah i bought It too but at April and it's getting slower and slower, do you think i should buy Poco X3 Pro for 170€ or should wait for the new year coming?
Love the fact you do re-reviews after a thorough analysis of the phone. I got an X3 pro last Friday and just got the miui update today and I must say that it's much smoother but yes there are a few bugs but I can live with that!
Thanks for sharing that. I bought 2 X3 Pro's (one for me one for my son) and they should be arriving by Tuesday next week at the latest. I look forward to using it. I have been a BlackBerry user since 2010 and this is my first departure from BlackBerry since.
*should also show us the peak brightness of the F3 under sunlight vs the others instead of only showing us the dimmed brightness which looks the same, i always wonder how big of a different it is with amoled vs ips under bright sun*
great review as always, I am using X3 Pro switched from an iPhone to it. I have to say best decision ever, this phone has everything a person would need.
I've got POCO F3 & installed MIUI EU ROM on it for better performance, thanks to your review the *Screens & direct sunlight legibility* is mostly what I worry about as I live a very bright country XD
I bought the X3 NFC as an early bird but found it to bulky for my liking. When the F3 came out I bought it instead and gave the X3 to my son. The F3 didn't only look much better but it also didn't felt bulky at all. The screen is another welcome bonus, I miss the sdcard though. I think the extra money is well spend even when you compare it to the X3 pro.
I would consider getting the one with more ROM storage and then you wouldn't really need to use an SDcard. So for me, I'd choose the 8GB/256GB and I can forego the sdcard, headphone jack, and fm radio for a better macro focus camera, and better display. Thoughts?
just get my Poco X3 NFC a month before official launch of X3 Pro on Indonesia yes they just launch with pretty same price, but after see some comparison, X3 NFC have a more good camera sensor. but have a bad night mode because of just using snapdragon 7 series vs 8 series in X3 Pro. Overal im pretty happy with my X3 NFC
X3 Pro wins for me.. and btw, KUDOS!! Thank you so much for making this. I've seen a lot of videos comparing all three phones, but yours seem to be the most detailed and answers all the questions I have.
Can you tell Poco to go easy with the branding. It's almost a deal breaker for me. At least have the option to opt out with the design. Too bad it's a great phone
Despite all the hints and warnings on the internet, I ordered the poco F3 and sent it back straight away. The one with the 1200 nits brightness and the 120 Hertz display is just an annoying mess. As we all know, after the phone was released, the display dimmed even with the slightest load, so extremely that you could hardly see any content. After the alleged update it got a little better, but e.g. outside in the sunshine it starts to dim immediately, instead of getting an additional boost for brightening, as it should be. Then there is the 120 Hertz, because the entire system shuts down, switching to 60 Hertz. And then, despite the phone cooling down, don't go back to 120 Hertz. To do this, you have to tap on the already set 120 Hertz again. And that about ten times a day. One can only hope that this problem will finally be fixed with further updates!
What great re-review! I really miss that type of videos in general and I'm glad this model is gets it. That really means there is a lot of quality behind it. It really helps me to decide which one of those is the best for my needs - X3 Pro!
I think the focus are set differently. The Poco X3 NFC is a well balanced phone with very good cameras for its price. The Poco X3 Pro is all about the most power for a low price. Better cameras mean more costs.
I have the opportunity to compare pictures between the X3 NFC and F3 every now and then. I don't think the results of the F3 are noticeably worst and sometimes even better. Night pictures seem to be better on the F3 perhaps due the processing power of the sd870.
Agree with you mate.. The X3 Pro is definitely the best option out of the 3 this year.. It has almost everything.. Performance that is almost the SD 865 level, memory card slot, jack, stereo speakers, ir blaster..and price.. As fkr camera and screen.. It maybe depends on personal opinion.. For me its good enough because I'm not into camera and the screen is also ok for me.. Still prefer LCD as it cheaper to repair.. Currently using a Galaxy A30 with AMOLED screen as my 2nd device.. Thanks for the video! I ended up getting a Poco F3, but I always think about what it would have been like to get a Redmi Note 10 pro. Could you do a re-review comparing the F3 to the Redmi note 10 pro as well?
As someone who had both you made the right choice Poco F3 is the far better phone. Much more powerful, better oled screen, much better haptics, slightly faster charging and better build quality. Cameras are only marginally worse than the Redmi Note 10 Pro but still decent for the money.
MIUI 12.5.2. is already rolling out for Poco F3. Apparently battery life is better, more optimisations, fixes for proximity sensor some ppl had (mine is ok), better sound quality from speakers etc..
I give up my Poco F3 due to serious proximity sensor issues with whatsapp and few apps with call feature (few xiaomi model facing same issue) I'm now very happy with Realme GT
Hey @TechTablets I wonder, in the battery life test, on the original review of the Poco X3 NFC it score over 15 h almost 16h and now it's a bit over of 10 h! What change? It seems a too drastic change on the results whereas the X3 Pro and F3 seems to be about the same results of their individual reviews on battery life. Always enjoying your videos, Cheers!
I really had a lot of GPS drift with Poco F3. Good thing I noticed it soon and returned it. Used it in Pokemon Go. Inside my appartment I had no GPS lock.
@@Techtablets Strangely the GPS was used if I had GPS status & toolbox in split screen with Pokémon Go while indoors. MIUI 12.5 didn't bring any improvement
That's interesting, my POCO X3 NFC has widevine L1 cert... You even show it in your original review of the X3 NFC that it has widevine L1 cert, so did Xiaomi downgrade it with a software update?
I bought F3. Its best out of 3 and best buy phone under 400eur (370 here in Croatia). Everything but the cam is on flagship level. And camera is better with new update. With gcam its really good, not 2021 flagship level but good enough. Mcg Gcam brings 60fps at 4k also and more details in photos.
Brilliant comparison Chris, thank you. Interesting that the F3 screen dimming is still an issue. I saw a recent comment from someone elsewhere that this issue had been resolved. Obviously they were talking rubbish so thanks again for clarifying that.

Thank you for this excellent excellent re-review comparison! Helps a lot in my decision making for which Poco to get. 👍 Will you be making a re-review for the Redmi Note 10G Vs Redmi Note 10S? 😁
Xiaomi's update policy is notoriously strange(looking back at the Mi Ax where ota updates bricked devices more than once). The 12.0.8 (Android 11) is way slower and has more bugs than the 12.0.8(Android 10). A lot slower and I've had to reboot my X3 NFC twice in the last week because it froze, never happened with the previous ROMs. For whatever reason Xiaomi decided to disable fullscreen-gestures with other launchers, they only work with the Poco launcher with the Android 11 switch. It's pretty bizarre what decisions Xiaomi makes when it comes to stifle their lower-end devices through software. On a positive note though, if you use GCam 8.1 on Android 11 you get 192 kbit/s sound for videos without root.
My phone dream team!😍 The X3 Pro gets it though as I prefer an LCD display. I could wait for the X3 Gt, a new phone is not urgent and waiting for a particular game to be released
With thanks from Singapore 🇸🇬 👍 i really like how you summarise these 3 phones from POCO.. giving a best-value evaluation... More expensive may mean better components but good-value is a lot more subjective to personal preferences. I have for the last few weeks been thinking how to choose from these 3 phones 🤔... Better screen or camera... Or do i even need 5G yet 😅 Your video is really useful 👏👏
In the Poco F3 with the latest miui version, Did night video recording improve? I'm thinking in gettting it but that one thing is letting me down a bit. If it had the screen sharing through usb-c, that would be a go to without hesitation.
@@minecraftstation6422 yeah, only a few Samsung, Motorola or even the Essential Phone have it. I don't know if I should wait if next gen ships with it, or take a shot for this one, hahaha, Currently I own an Asus Zenfone 3 with S625 as a daily driver. Only thing is some games are a bit slow, but the camera has OIS and this new guy doesn´t.

Ill still stick with the poco x3 nfc, better battery life and camera's are amazing, the sd 732g chipset is fine, it can run most game's and the phone runs smooth and hardly over heats.
Totally agree with you, I don't really consider the f3 for me due to the lack of jack (everyday I consume a lot of audio with my wired earphones) I consider as an option the realme gt neo (when launched globally) and even the a52 5g, but not the f3 only for that
Hi, I be using the Poco X3 pro for 3 months I find the software problems till now the remote control for Air con NO display and GPS different by 100 meter from the exact location🤔
hi, i really love your videos but i'd love to hear the name of camera sensor each phones' camera uses for instance, x3 nfc's main camera is sony imx682
Bought the X3 Pro over the F3 because it's better suiting my needs, not because it's cheaper, 3.5mm with great audio quality, expansion slot, great IPS display even though it's not amoled, and 5G is not my priority.
On screen burn: I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that sees use for secondary geeky projects, and the screen is still fine (minus the long gone oleophobic coating, which is a different kind of annoyance). No burn-in or defects of any kind, and that phone is nearly 8 years old now.
Nice review. thanks for sharing Chris. Currently in my region X3 and X3Pro are same price. F3 and Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are same or very near price. which make the question F3 Or Mi 10T ?!
Superb showdown Chris🙂👍👍. It is really strange that the phone with the midrange chipset has the better Camera performance🤦♂️. I personally prioritize gaming performance more and battery life. So I prefer the F3 here, although it has the higher price tag. But it seems worth it, because of the sleeker design and it's lacking the billboard sign that's on the back of the other two.
The only thing I don't like with the F3 is the AMOLED screen. I've had so many Samsung phones before but they all ended up getting the infamous oled screen burn in less than a year so I'm officially done with this type of screen. I also don't really like the weird white color on the AMOLED and its resolution (because of the pentile pixels) that seems to be less dense than the IPS (a 1080p IPS seems to be more dense in pixels than a QHD AMOLED display).
About the 120hz changes to 60hz is true, with additional screenshot in dark mode will lead to a dimmer screenshot, and much saddening is the ultra wide on f3 is not even 60 frames on 1080p
Hey man its been a year now, do you still use the phone, last year around this time I brought X3 PRO witchy worked fine, but than just died, I loved the phone, it was great, so right now I'm thinking to buy F3, but I don't know if the same thing will happen with the F3, did you have any issues and does it still work fine for you?

I give up my Poco F3 due to serious proximity sensor issues with whatsapp and few apps with call feature (few xiaomi model facing same issue)
I'm now very happy with Realme GT
Still one of the best reviewers out there ..keep up the good work bro
What app did you use for seeing the battery health and charging time?
Hey @TechTablets I wonder, in the battery life test, on the original review of the Poco X3 NFC it score over 15 h almost 16h and now it's a bit over of 10 h! What change? It seems a too drastic change on the results whereas the X3 Pro and F3 seems to be about the same results of their individual reviews on battery life. Always enjoying your videos, Cheers!
Firmware, Miui 12.5 has seen a huge drop in battery life for me. But it is much smoother now.
I really had a lot of GPS drift with Poco F3. Good thing I noticed it soon and returned it. Used it in Pokemon Go. Inside my appartment I had no GPS lock.
Odd never had that issue it seems fine on both of my units.
Never experienced that issue after using it for 2 months now.
@@Techtablets Strangely the GPS was used if I had GPS status & toolbox in split screen with Pokémon Go while indoors. MIUI 12.5 didn't bring any improvement
I wish Poco F3 vs Realme GT comparison will be here soon
N.b : Flagship killer category
If this video does really well I will do it
@@Techtablets I second the request for Poco F3 vs Realme GT
@@Techtablets I would also be very interested by a video comparing these two flagship killers !
That's to much impressive happy to see your camprisons between them... The flagship killer device
This guy makes the best review videos - change my mind
The F3 does have a USB to 3.5mm adapter included but it's kinda well hidden in the box in a paper bag
One of the best reviews I've seen, 💪🏼💯 Great Work Man !
That's interesting, my POCO X3 NFC has widevine L1 cert... You even show it in your original review of the X3 NFC that it has widevine L1 cert, so did Xiaomi downgrade it with a software update?
Must have no idea why it lost it with the update
I still go for Poco F3, Good Looking phone and E4 Amoled Screen with SD870 is a very big deal 💯
didn't he say the F3 has snapdragon 732?
@@robertorodriguez2609 x3 nfc has sd 732, not f3
I bought F3. Its best out of 3 and best buy phone under 400eur (370 here in Croatia). Everything but the cam is on flagship level. And camera is better with new update. With gcam its really good, not 2021 flagship level but good enough. Mcg Gcam brings 60fps at 4k also and more details in photos.
Which app you used for battery life test and Charge times?
Brilliant comparison Chris, thank you. Interesting that the F3 screen dimming is still an issue. I saw a recent comment from someone elsewhere that this issue had been resolved. Obviously they were talking rubbish so thanks again for clarifying that.
Any new camera features with the 12.5?
2nd video watching U,now I'm sure U R the right person 4 analysis & technically so helpful 4 clients 2 make sure about the money they spent in the right place, " value 2 price
Great wishes 2 U
Excellent, i'll be getting the x3pro. It got headphone jack, sd card slot, pretty snappy SD 860 and so much more..
What game
With thanks from Singapore 🇸🇬 👍 i really like how you summarise these 3 phones from POCO.. giving a best-value evaluation... More expensive may mean better components but good-value is a lot more subjective to personal preferences. I have for the last few weeks been thinking how to choose from these 3 phones 🤔... Better screen or camera... Or do i even need 5G yet 😅
Your video is really useful 👏👏
Great video, very well compiled information! Keep it up.
In the Poco F3 with the latest miui version, Did night video recording improve? I'm thinking in gettting it but that one thing is letting me down a bit. If it had the screen sharing through usb-c, that would be a go to without hesitation.
Unfortunately it doesn't have that feature.... Have it with me for 4 days but still haven't updated to miui 12.5 but so far so good no issues
Watching this with my Poco X3 Pro
Excellent review your the best 👍👍
I appreciate that!
Very good mate you really work hard for this and thanks ♥️
I really appreciate your work..this man deserves way more followers👍..I've been in the dark concerning choosing between Realme 8, X3 pro and redmi 9T(Amoled, power or battery) after watching this there's no competition.. X3 pro🎸🔔🎹🎙
His comparisons are way better than supersaf, bcz he have more scenories and ocean and more depth scenes.
Ill still stick with the poco x3 nfc, better battery life and camera's are amazing, the sd 732g chipset is fine, it can run most game's and the phone runs smooth and hardly over heats.
Totally agree with you, I don't really consider the f3 for me due to the lack of jack (everyday I consume a lot of audio with my wired earphones)
I consider as an option the realme gt neo (when launched globally) and even the a52 5g, but not the f3 only for that
You know you can just buy a type c to 3.5 jack dongle from the store
@@solomonanene9477 yes, actually I know there is something called wireless headphones, but I don't want them
*funny how the F3 have dual band GPS but seems worse than the others*
Hi, I be using the Poco X3 pro for 3 months I find the software problems till now the remote control for Air con NO display and GPS different by 100 meter from the exact location🤔
Nice review good sir, hope will get my unit soon for f3, still out of stock here in my area
hi, i really love your videos but i'd love to hear the name of camera sensor each phones' camera uses
for instance, x3 nfc's main camera is sony imx682
Bought the X3 Pro over the F3 because it's better suiting my needs, not because it's cheaper, 3.5mm with great audio quality, expansion slot, great IPS display even though it's not amoled, and 5G is not my priority.
Which one will you recommend for vlogging?
Hi did u had any touch issue with the poco x3 pro
No but some UI icon gltiches at times. (Not showing up after unlocking or slow to show)
On screen burn: I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that sees use for secondary geeky projects, and the screen is still fine (minus the long gone oleophobic coating, which is a different kind of annoyance).
Mi 10t pro ftw.
@@breadcat9928 Thanks. How about F3 Or Mi 10T ?!
@@vaikingvp3 both are equally good but if you're into performance go for the F3.
Mi 10T
I say poco f3, but mi 10t is also good, but it's pretty Chonky and has an ips display
poco x3 pro best value for money and performance !!!
Thanks a lot man! ❤️
Thank you for this review :)
Yeah, the F3's design is so much better, less bulky in hand.
Wow this is a great review.
@TechTablets
proxymity sensor for x3 pro, is infrared or ultrasonic ?
Thanks
Infrared
@@Techtabletsthanks
Will you do blackview tablets?
The only thing I don't like with the F3 is the AMOLED screen.
I've had so many Samsung phones before but they all ended up getting the infamous oled screen burn in less than a year so I'm officially done with this type of screen.
I also don't really like the weird white color on the AMOLED and its resolution (because of the pentile pixels) that seems to be less dense than the IPS (a 1080p IPS seems to be more dense in pixels than a QHD AMOLED display).
About the 120hz changes to 60hz is true, with additional screenshot in dark mode will lead to a dimmer screenshot, and much saddening is the ultra wide on f3 is not even 60 frames on 1080p
very nice technical but also understandable comparison, thank you very much
Excellent review ❤️🔥
Glad you liked it
Do have a review on k40 pro+
12gb 256gb variant?
The one thing I wish he covered is responsiveness to touch. Is one more responsive and faster than the others?
Great work I like the review 👍
Hey man its been a year now, do you still use the phone, last year around this time I brought X3 PRO witchy worked fine, but than just died, I loved the phone, it was great, so right now I'm thinking to buy F3, but I don't know if the same thing will happen with the F3, did you have any issues and does it still work fine for you?
Go to Poco f4
@@rezza_f1re why?
Very useful review 👍👍
hey chris a request for video on budget compact phones for 2021.
Nice review!! F3 it's winner for me but I Stoke between f3 and mi 11 litle 5g I'm not sure with one it's better 🤷♂️🤷♂️
F3 is what I would get out of those two
