You're probably referring to doom drops (rush a bunch of land units in by helicopter/chinook). Here's my attempt using Laser General: ruclips.net/video/cyNkrnH5QPc/видео.html Laser General is more suited to doom dropping because his chinooks are much faster, drop quicker, and he has better tools to disable things in advance (bombers, A10s). Tank General's analogs are either more expensive or just inferior in use. Even then, I have to reset the nukes. Why? Because the attack gets bogged down. There are too many things in the way for me to push through before she drops the scuds on my army. So in short, it won't be good because: 1. I don't have enough economy to do it, and 2. The units I have can't make it happen quick enough.
As for Laser General, bombers + particle cannons is much easier to execute, and is less prone to failure. With a doom drop, if it fails you have to rebuild from scratch.
