it also makes you waste so much, if for. every line you undo 5 times, then that means your 5 hour sketch could have been done in 1 hour, and could have made 5 sketches instead of 1.
I realized this on 2022 October. for 1 year , I have been practicing my lines, it just straight lines but also curved, without undo for 1 entire hour. my line quality have improved a lot, I undo less now, I hope after getting a screen display I don't do it that much.

I’ve noticed in some of you videos you don’t zoom in a lot while drawing, which something I tend to do a lot. I know it’s not helping because when I zoom out I’ve either put to much detail into one thing, it doesn’t match the rest of the drawing, it’s too big or too small.
How do you stop your self from zooming in so much?

Ooo good question! I was very impressionable as a beginner and took some advice from a professional about he was always working small even on a giant Cintiq. It was for the exact reason you described. You get the overall impact and stop worrying about the details! It just turned into a habit after lots of practice. I would suggest having drawing sessions where you challenge yourself not to zoom in so it's a concious effort. Over time it will become a natural habit ☺️
