When we travel on long-haul flights, several things happen. {TS). First of all, we are stationary. {SS). We are not moving our legs, so there is no physiological compression of the calf muscles. {DS - 1). Blood tends to sit in the veins and may clot. {DS - 1.2). Number two, the environment is dry. {SS - 2). We dehydrate, and we may drink some alcohol, we dehydrate even further. {DS - 2.1). # mostly the TS is at the beginning,sometimes it will be in second para or at the end of para
