You can also modify this gun, any airsoft gun in fact. So it's a great platform. I'm not one for buying ultra realistic-pricy airsoft guns. I want something that will get the job done and mostly rely on skill because in the end, thats what it comes down too. You dont need a full metal casing for your airsoft gun at all. It's mostly internals that you need to worry about.
I agree. And if anybody needs further proof, let me just say this: there's a series of 7 videos made by a Brazilian guy who disassembled this replica, showing how to do it and what internals it has, then reassembled it using part upgrades (including a totally different gearbox). He did a great job, and I believe anybody who is capable of assembling Airsoft replicas would be able to turn this into a great piece of work!
@@reesemurrow7696 unfortunately whoever made those videos must have deleted them, because I had them all saved in a playlist, and now it's empty. Doesn't matter though. I watched them to learn how to disassemble it, so I can open and close it very easily. Upgrading it is essentially a matter of replacing the internals with better ones. Like the guy above, it's those that you need to worry about! :) Sorry for not being able to provide you with the videos, though. Maybe I could do them myself if I get the chance to actually buy and fit the upgrades. If/when I do, I'll let you know.
@@reesemurrow7696 well, it depends on what version fits in the replica. I believe any standard gearbox for M4-type replicas that is not a plastic jumble of gears and springs would do the trick, unless you want to skip the "average" and "decent" tiers and jump straight to "pro". I'm not really expert when it comes to internals, which is why I want to take advice from other airsofters in my club (who will no doubt be horrified by my plans) to get to know what version specifically will fit. Off the top of my mind I could say V2 or V3, but it's not both: one of them fits, the other one not really that much. I just can't remember which one. Consider also this: unlike proper replicas, this one is not torn to pieces. That is, you don't separate the grip, the upper and lower recs and so on (the stock is removed pretty much like all other replicas though). Once the stock is off, you must open it in two, just like blatant toys. This is where this replica is an awkward middle point between a LPEG toy and a decent AEG. Why am I telling this? Because replacing the internals here will be slightly different than how you do it in, say, a G&G.
I’m 11 and I’m just saving up to buy my first one. Knowing that this gun is like 5 pounds, that’s about the perfect weight for me, only thing I need to know is if I can modify this to where it can last almost a lifetime, or just tell me how to make it last a life time
Such a weapon is nearly doubble in price, meaning he must propably wait another 2 - 3 Months. This weapon retails right now for 80 Euros, so it's not that bad untill Birthday or Christmas hits ;)
I hate how people say save up 20$ and get a G&G Combat Machine when those really cost around 150$! I got this gun at a sporting goods store with a starting kit for like 110 but you can get them online for like 75$. So personally if your on a budget just get this LPEG it will surprise you.
Anyone new to airsoft usually gets shown the right stuff by veteran players on a site, and it gives an individual a chance to see what selection is out there, try it out if the owner is willing, and get advice from lads who have already tried and tested their own first AEGs. That 416 aint gonna survive too long skirmishing with a first timer. buy a decent AEG first time around and if they don't like the sport they can get some of their money back.
+Ross Curley Probably not. I'd personally recommend buying something along the lines of a KA M933 ($125-$175 depending on where you buy it). I say this because of it's amazing internal quality, and the fact it's fully upgradable. It's nylon fiber, which will last SO much longer/ is more durable than this. The difference is getting a "high quality" gun (by backyard standards) or getting a competition ready, full metal gearbox, fully upgradeable gun.
Kaden Eichhorn lol, dont bother. all plastic internals and i'm pretty sure the gearbox shell design is propiatary so u might have a problem fitting in a metal shell.
Metal shell fits, just need to make some mods to the handle for the motor. And the internals well plastic, are all marui spec, so my lancer gb which I'm upgrading fits just fine. Lol
Kaden Eichhorn oh nice, that's good to hear. My friend doesnt use his cus he got a krytac so i might buy his off him and make it into a high rof build.
If you're talking about the motor grip, then no. It's welded together with the lower receiver part. You will have to saw it off and replace it by gluing another grip (which is possible, just not exactly too great).
I paid $100 for that same gun.. AMAZING gun... My buddy has shot some of the higher dollar guns and loved mine. Survived 6-7 hours of straight combat and the battery is still good to go. Amazing, would recommend to anyone looking for a great low budget gun.
+Daddeh Ghost Getting this right now for about $55 refurbished. Hopefully it's as good as you say..I have the Umarex Walther P99 which I love so I definitely trust the company.
Anybody has a recent experience with this replica? just to know if it is worth to buy it... also if anybody can suggest any midcaps brand for this... and if you have experience using it with .25gr bbs please let me know your thoughts
Most M4/Stanag magazines work. I even got a VFC KAC PDW magazine to work with it... you have to kick it once to lodge it into position because the mag well is a little too tight in that case, but it works flawlessly.
Oddy would you be able to review the SVD-S dragunov folding stock by ASG, their is litterialy 0 review of that gun out their and I was thinking of getting it for Christmas. ;)
This AEG is gold for its price. The thing is, it's really all about craftsmanship. And for such a cheap gun, the design is quite durable, and easily a very versatile pickup when it comes to modding.
Um....Oddy, this is really an LPEG. Any starter would be better off saving up another $20 and buying a JG or any other Chinese gun, that's where I started. The G&G combat Machine series is nice too, and even Lancer Tactical makes a decent plastic bodied full metal starter gun. Plastic gearbox (especially v2) isn't going to last 4 games without cracking, locking up, etc. it's just not worth it.
I'd honestly tell anyone wanting to start to wait and save up for at least a G&G Combat machine. It's going to last you much longer. Why spend €100 on a full plastic gun that wont last/isn't skirmishable? Buy right, buy once. Combat machine will last a lot longer, and you can actually bring it out into games. It's cheap for a reason.

I have the HK 416 it works really good for me
Same, as a "noob" to airsoft i would say its definitely not the best out there but i think its a good starter gun
I got the gun 2 weeks ago and its performence is really good
So this or the Umarex G36C, I need to know!!! I am in love with both
This! I got both of them an i think the design and the accurance of the HK M416 is better than the G36. Umarex is very good! :)
Johnny Golly g36 is a nice heavy metal gun though

BlackMambaAirsoft thanks for the advice ill look into that gun :)
A CYMA CM.045a (AKS-74U), CM.048 (AK-74), or any other VFC-styled AKs are great project guns if you're wanting to go the AK route.
Could I put a suppressor on this at all? Just for the extra range and looks
could you do a video where you take this gun apart ?
Can you replace the plastic gearbox with a v3 full metal gearbox?
Ses un truc de malade ses plus puissant que les autres pui plu6 realiste et beau
Anyone know how to disassemble this??????
anyone know if i can install a HPA sistem into that replic?? Inferno spartan or polarstar F1 for example
The gearbox is the same of V2 versions?
My friend actually got this aeg as his first airsoft gun. I am very interested to see how such a cheap aeg performs at his first game this weekend.

can you think about reviewing the zastava m70 varmint
Review on the CYMA CM028?
Is there any way this can be transformed from a plastic to metal aeg
Ye, buy a metal one
+AirsoftGhost no you can not mod the gun in any sort of way (in your case)
What age should you start getting properly get into airsoft??
16+
Edgar Abram I'm 13 and started airsoft in when I was ten. Nobody had a problem and I wasn't that bad. I don't think you need to be over 16 to play
the question was properly...I asumed meaning getting your own gear learning how to mod aegs etc.
yeah, i bought my own aeg and gear at the start, ive been playing since i was 11, and ive recently began learning to mod aegs

What type of magazine is it.
Is it a m4 magazine
Yes
is it just me or did the gun bend when he sholdered it
i thought that too at first but i watched it a few times and i think his shoulder
