So cool to see young people progressing in this craft! Keep it up, don't get discouraged! At the beginning, all businesses are tough, but eventually you will see the results! Question, did you changed the polarity for gasless? Try Lincoln flux core wire, I use id all the time because I weld outside and there's hardly any BBs or slag.
Hey mate, yeah like the other comments say, you have to change your polarities for gasless. I also like to have the bars in between the frame tacked in before welding helps keep it square.

Looks like your running you gasless wire on the wrong polarity. For solid wire you run electrode positive then you gotta switch to electrode negative for gasless wire. When in the right polarity with gasless it should look and weld like 7018
I am most likely wrong but on the flux core to me it looks like it was run on dcep that is why there are big splatter beads if you did flip the polarity from the solid wire ignore this but if you did I would try a different wire
Hey man, love this videos. I would suggest trying to push with mig. I use to pull until I got to the job I have now, and they showed me how much easier pushing is. Also they say you suppose to get more penetration pushing.
I don't like welding with gasless but Lincoln wire is good n cheap and doesn't seem to smoke that bad and I use some pam spray for the splatter (just add bacon lol) also try welding outside corners 1st on the frame. Love your channel bro keep it up 👍
0:51 you can also buy some magnetic squares so you don’t need the clamps when u set up your tacs and obviously it’s a bitch running around that frame I imagine to get it perfect like that lol
No hate but fix it if you know it’s wrong or ugly man gotta keep your work at the highest quality it’s what’s gonna help you stand out from your competition
That come out real nice young man
“Ain’t gonna lie to you it is what it is” I’ve used those words before love the videos man. Killin it
second favorite #send it!

Change your polarity on the inside of the machine for gas less wire helps with splatter
yeah i think ya'll rite i cant believe im out here lackin lol
Yup! Should be negative
Check your polarity on the flux core. It's supposed to be negative on the wire, positive on the grnd clamp
Always looking forward to the Vids Rico!
Thanks mane
Very good Bro

good point ! and yeah man i cant believe i didnt think about thaat
Self shielded wire usually needs to be run on dcen. That should cut down on the spatter. Great to see the business comin along 👍
thanks for the info
the saftey squint comes in handy every now and then hahah
Adjust your voltage and wire speed for the gasless
Good job carnal

Awesome video can you make a tutorial on how that square works
What to you use to make holes in concrete ,for poles that hold up gate frame?
The big poles on sides?
Este guy is trying to get on Foos Gone Weldin.
Killing it brotha
🤟🏼
Keep it up dawg! Good job
✊🏼💯
Good stuff Rico!!👍
Thanks 👍
The first weld looked like you forgot to reverse the polarity on your welder for the gasless wire
That was my first thought also
yep , i use flux all the time and never get huge splatter like that. just a few bb's which aint no problem to flap disc off in 1 second
I am most likely wrong but on the flux core to me it looks like it was run on dcep that is why there are big splatter beads if you did flip the polarity from the solid wire ignore this but if you did I would try a different wire
I think you on to something🤔
yeah fcaw needs to be ran on dcen and pulled like stick
Gasless wire u can weld n the wind like stick
1:58 Rico, gas with the flux core looks the best of them all, love my dual shield 🥵
flux core was the fist welding procedure educe i learned
Nice video, check your polarity on the gasless wire application and ensure its on the correct polarity
Me either good point brother
Also ensure you have the correct contact tip to work distance (stick-out). Good luck
Cool video
Thanks homie

I'm with you on the gasless wire, I don't like the look and feel of it at all. I also thought I might have got some bad wire lol but I dunno.
i had the wrong polarity lol

@@TheWeldLab I was wondering if that might be the problem.

What do you charge for something like that
🤔
What generator do you use for the welder bro. I got a 5500 from CAT, but it trips.
The Flux core was to cold 🥶

Yessir I agree
Looks clean bro! Quick question why not use sleeve anchors instead?
How much did you charge them for it?
🤔
When you dropping the FR merch
i hope by next month brother
Electrode negative on gasless flux core. Thank me later. Make a video on It
Damm everyone a professional welder on the comments am I the only none welder here looks fukin perfect too me 🤔👍
