Yes!!!! AI will not replace writers, it will clear out the "bad writers". This is the same for all fields. AI is here to help the smart, broad-skilled professionals work at their craft better. Thank you.
The thing is, it actually surprises me on why this issue is still talked about AI on its own is absolute garbage. You'd have to be terrible at writing for it to overtake you
Just to add some more fuel to the fire Alex has ignited through this video I would like to mention how terrible is to rely solely on AI for copywriting. After spending a month on trying to learn how to create a sales letter while trying to create a prompt for it . I saw that no matter what you did and how long you prompted or how deeply you immersed yourself in crafting the "The Perfect Prompt" While trying to breakdown sales pages , reading the whole bunch of them and then breaking them into pieces to see what's going on to use in the prompt The AI still struggles to replicate the same feeling which I am expecting it to have . The copy which AI produces is somewhat not "empathising" to say the least if not bad It's still salesy , it feels rushed and it's lacks the dynamism . And all these copywriting prompts you see in the wild are useless , Especially if you count yourself serious then you shouldn't be taking a template of 4 sentence prompt seriously. Becoz context is everything AI wants . Output =input Unless you are gonna provide each and every detail of your client , their pain points , roadblocks , goal and their dream state , along being specific with the brand identity , client awareness , tone and speech and the offer in detail The AI itself won't be able to play with the tools it has . If your prompt is gonna be generic it will give a generic output All of the copy you will have will be nothing but a generic mess forcing to scratch your scalp off. This is what human copywriters dnt have to worry about . They dnt have to worry about constant sets of instructions . Constant sets of persuasion techniques Constant keeping track of pain points and trying our best to craft a best intro You write when your research is complete and when you genuinly empathise with your audience and genuinly believe that the product solves their problem That's when the persuasion kicks in Coz everyone has the potential to be a great copywriter !!! If you can speak on a topic for hours then believe me you can do copywriting. Recall how many times you have spoken endlessly on a topic you have "actually cared about " Think about it . Did you prepare the outline before speaking it out ? Did you work on your intros ? Did you care about what Copywriting framework you used ? And did you had a context window ? No! , You spoke becoz you felt the greatest urge of expressing yourself . That's when you let out that persuasive power and spoke for hours . When people actually care about a topic , they can speak endlessly about it . This is why your copy will always be as good as your ability to express and empathise with your target audience. And that will be as good as your research is This is why I use ChatGPT to not create actual copies and churn them out like a money printer. But I use them to gain insights , to do more comprehensive research , read a lot more words Than I actually put on the wordpad !!!. And alhamdulillah i feel victorious after creating my first sales letter today . I not only learned the good way to use ChatGPT but also learned that instead of outsourcing my entire work to AI . I can instead use the AI as a tool , for research ideation and edit drafts and modify them. That's the best copy secret you will ever know Use the AI to research and let it write copy and research outlines . And then allow yourself
Thank you so much Alex for the awesome video, like always. can you do a video about home page, landing page , about page, sales page, and explain how they connect to each other , it is important topic and I'm really confused about them. thank you so much
Alex, do you have a program for someone with an ecommerce site that needs a road map to grow their business? I don't want to be a "copywriter" per say, plus I don't have the capital to hire out, I need to do it all myself 😅
STORM may be super helpful for you! It is waitlisted right now but we will be opening the doors again later this year! You can reach out to my team at hello@alexcattoni.com and we can give you more details. :)
People who say that AI can replace copywriting have actually never understood copywriting in the first place If you are among those people who think that Copywriting is something where you get paid for writing a bunch of ads .or bunch of words . And since words are typed thus it's expensive 🤣 Using bold letters 😂 bullet points or underlining and italicising for emphasis and readability . Cracking jokes 🤣 or being the most unusual to stand out . Then you are DEAD SHOT WRONG!!! !! Rather copywriting is an art of persuasion. So anyone who thinks that AI will replace copywriting , is indirectly saying that AI has Solved the problem of persuasion That's like saying Humans 😁 dnt need to talk to each other anymore coz AI will talk on your behalf And btw if persuasion is solved then it's implications aren't just limited to bussiness 😂 It's implications go a long way into power of mass control . Imagine if you had the power to persuade anyone . What would be the first thing you would do ? You will cause the entire world to walk behind you 😂. Imagine persuading everyone in the world to work for you , and give you money . That's not how things work Do people even realise what problem copywriting is solving ? It's persuasion!!! Nothing else ! Whether you write it out, or paint it out or speak it out . Or even prompt it out !!! If it's persuading people then it doesn't matter whether it has no social proof or authority . As long as it is persuasive It is solving a problem
I could see how you used famous psychological principles while explaining the concepts, but I think the lack of relevant examples didn't make your video relatable. Still.... good content.
