Welcome back, GG. So glad you recovered from your surgery and are back on the road again. You and your husband are an inspiration to all of us recumbent trikers. Love the way you guys handle those country roads.
Good morning, and thank-you! It's amazing how we miss riding those trikes when we are unable due to weather or other. We were out on this past Wed. on country roads, some really rutted and wash boarded ones. We did not take the camera that day, and I wish we would have! It was a 4x4 off road experience on a 3 wheeler! The fat tires and the full suspension really are a must for these types of roads. I just found our I have to have a mass on my right ovary removed the week after Mother's day...but I am trusting the LORD that I will be back out there riding soon. Doc said 3-6 weeks... I am working on those abs over the next few weeks so they are in shape (as much as possible) to get back on my trike quickly. I have a couple vids ready to go while that is going on. I do want to thank you for watching and wishing you Happy Trails and Be Safe Out There!--GG
Love watching your videos... Yesterday, my son and I took our first recumbent trike ride of the 2024 season. We got to use our Arcshell Walkie-talkies for the very first time upon your recommendation. They worked fantastically! Thank you for sharing the information regarding them. Keep on Triking!
I am so happy for you guys! We really have Spring fever here, and want to ride more often. And, I am so glad you got the Arcshell radios! It takes awhile to work them into your riding routine, but they sure come in handy. We are looking at about a foot and a half of snow out here from a storm yesterday, so it may take some sunny days to get that melted down to a reasonable depth to ride in. Thanks for taking your time to watch. You and your son Keep on Triking! Blessings, GG
My husband & I are thinking about driving out to the Colorado Springs area in July or August to escape the heat of Dallas. Have you ridden in that area? We ride Catrikes with Bosch motors & generally stay on paved trails. Any suggestions would be helpful. Love your videos!
Hi, Joanne! We have only ridden down in the Springs once, so I cannot speak to the trail system...however, if you reach out to BJ and Jo on @OutandAboutOnTheRecumbents, they live in Colorado Springs and do not have a car. They go EVERYWHERE on their recumbents. They would love to share where the great trails are in that area, I am certain. Tell them Grizzly Granny referred you to them, LOL! There is also a recumbent trike dealer in the Springs called, "Angletech". Their website is www.CycleDifferent.com, and may have some great trail advice as well. Have a blast on your trip. Is is a gorgeous area to visit. Check our my Dillon Reservoir video as well. You may want to check out that area as well. Blessings and Be Safe Out There-G.G.
@@TrikeTalkin thanks for the info. Someone in Texas recommended Angletech also. I have reached out to BJ via RUclips & we plan to ride together. I will look at your Dillon Reservoir video for sure.

You can do this! Just experiment and see what set ups and gear you like the best. As you can see, it is always a "work in progress"....GG
