Love your channel. No ego no bullshit, just two decent blokes talking about bikes.
Thank you
Less is more...it's unbelievable that is just 125cc ❤️ I have 220cc Bajaj Avenger feb 2013 - it's an Indian bike you might not have heard of...I felt like I need more...but seeing such videos make me feel it's more than enough ❤️ I want to use it as much as I can 👍
Very cool little bike bro...
I own a motorcycle shop here in texas.i love and respect all sizes of bikes..and you did a good job on this one..cheers
Thanks for the idea, i plan to do a café racer project in the future.
you just educated me, thank you!
Nice works lads! Lovely little bike! Definitely a budget build with style. Subscribed to your channel, having a Sunday watch now :)
Awesome thank you! Malcolm is thinking about another build right now...I'm considering it myself too to be honest
Great vid. Comman mans cafe. Those are great smile machines. Thank you.
Top job fellas, a very enjoyable watch and inspirational to an old git like me who's hoping to be 'born again' after more than 20 years off bikes. I'm a typical 'never took my test when it was easy and cheap' type and so I've been looking at the 125cc market and not liking what I'm seeing in terms of costs, so the prospect of doing something like this is very interesting.
I have been the same as far as bike test...should have done it years ago...have had 10, 125's over the years lol. Glad you like it and thank you for watching and commenting....more builds will come.
I think that f the paint scheme of the whole bike, including the engine an spokes wheels turn into black will give more fancy look to this bike, an of course short silencer with open exhaust lil bit modifications are still require to make it more like cafe racer. But your efforts are really goo to make a simple cafe racer in low budget.
That is brilliant for the money laid down and the aesthetic change.
Great build! I wish there were more street legal 125's here in the US. Mainly the smallest street legal bikes here are 250's and used bikes go for over 1500$ if you want a running & roadworthy example. most are dual sport as well. Great video, keep up the good work & wish you all many years of fun & safe riding
Thank you for the great comment. What are import costs like from UK to USA?
Fantastic job lads! So impressed I almost sound British! lol
Love the video guys! Just Subscribed
you guys have done a tremendous job
Great stuff. Cheers
Amazing, guys! How easily u turned a simple looking bike into good looking bike.
5 star for you both!
small bikes are adorable
Nicely done. !👍
What a difference!
It's given me a few ideas for my ybr 125 custom
Thank you for your comment and good luck with your build.
David Hockley I know it’s been a while but did you convert your ybr custom? I have the same bike and would love to.
Enjoyed. Thank you!
SUzuki + kawasaKI + honDA.. thats the origin of its name... i have the same bike before but has 150cc engine on it...
Awesome job
looks real good for a little money 😎👍💰. 🎉chears🎊
Nice video guys!
Just amazing from Bangladesh ❤❤🇧🇩🇧🇩
Sir, Very motivational and informative for me.. Thanks a lot.. from Pakistan...
amazing guys
First 2 minutes thought I was looking at a Suzuki
Truth
wait.. i wasn't looking at a suzuki? bahah
।
Me too
Same
love it
Nice work...
Great back to great content like it was but much better 😎
Can you do a whole video how you did the front MUD guard. It looks really good with the lip around the whole ends
David Attenborough would be proud😄
Nice project
well done !
Clip ons would look good on this
i love it!
Love it 🤩🤩
very good job guys
£250 for a running bike is insane haha
Yeah...so he gave only 200 for it, which is even better..lol
Yeah what the hell in Ireland can't get something like this for less than 1 grand
got a 1985 suzuki 550 for $150 runs and drives
IVE HAD ONE OF THOSE, amazing bike!
What exactly is insane in that ?
How much are you willing to pay for a bike ? This is a cheapo bike made from Chinesium.
Cool bikes
Great simple build. Just curious, what is that square panel mounted on the fork with red marking?
Really Good Job and God migrate CG 125
I was planning to sell my Kawasaki Barako 175 then I saw this. . .
It's sooo tempting to custom it. .
Thank You. .
Awesome motorcycle 💯
Loved it
Not bad for the budget. Needs the foot controls moved back for a little better body position now that the bars are lower.
Well presented
awesome
The Sukida base bike is a Honda TMX 125 here in the Philippines which is made in China as well.
You mean the Historic honda cg125 from the late 70's
very nice
Welldone
So nice
Great video,I'm looking into a project that would turn my cg125 into a cafe racer style bike so this video helped! Get your full license and drop those hideous L plates though!the bike would look a hell of a lot better!
Agree! It is happening, not right now...but it is happening
nice job...but i would prefer a brat style seat...and black paint job...
anyway. ..keep it up 👍
Trim the rear fender and add two feet of license plate. It did turn out well though.
I eally didnt mind the old square lights! nor the seat. the mudguards for sure looked lihjt shit in combo with . the squarded shapes of the latter, but i think it could have looked nice as was, as soon as they were cut down. beautiful end product, tho
those "L" markings surely destroys the stance of the bike ..... ughhhh
Yes they do I totally agree, but unfortunately they are required by law.
Where I live the L plates are only 2 inches by 2 inches. plenty visible enough with out having to be the size of a house.....you lot should start a petition to get that remedied.
wlad del perhaps he holds a full licence or just doesn't care but on a CBT in the UK it is the law to display L plates both on the front and rear of the motorcycle
RJ has a full licence thats why he has bikes like the S1000R and his Nuda, which in the UK are too big of a bike to ride on just cbt
Why you need to put a L ? What that means?
Very cheap bike... I like it buddy
Nice seat
Cool
I want it!
i love the result, i got the same base bike for 400 tho :/, what do u think about a shorter exhaust?
good job...
It's beautiful because you have respected a lot from the original design. Haven't gone too far where the bike looks completely different. The only thing I would have done is remove the cover protector on the suspension (the black thing) and lower a liiiiittle bit. But apart from that it's really gorgeous.
wow very affordable price
this bike very strong
awesome transformation. how u modified the handle bar??
yes
Neat
What model is the other bike in this video? Looks super cool!
You guys get ridiculously good prices for parts. Everything costs so much to ship here
Are you in America? We have heard that many times...for me it is OK as my Mustang parts cost a fortune yet USA...so cheap. lol
I have zontes zt 125 v. Is nice Cafe racer.
Great
the big tv networks should do a feature of you..like on jessica soho...your videos are entertaining and informative...
Thank you....Perhaps we will get noticed? That would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yohhhhh that bike llooked shit in the beginning!!! lol I have a Suzuki GN125 and straight away i can tell that thing looked like my GN at the back and a Honda CG at the front!! hahaha it was a HonKi
LOL, got to love these 'original' names hey?
Nice
“The wife got involved, 200 pounds”
can you turn the stock seat into the smaller one or its a different type of seat
concept of video is verry satisfying. what is the model name of first bike?
I know the parts you removed Were unfashionable, especially compared to the sweet Cafe Racer styling your aiming for... But would you consider or be able to do a franken-bike of all the spare and unwanted parts you've potentially accumulated ?
Just my opinion but I preferred it all original, great video though, thanks for sharing :)
Where's the handle on the red bucket ;) ... Just kidding, that was a nifty job.
What a beautiful and lovely bike did you use?
This particular bike then went on to immediately fail it's MOT test on July 17th 2017 with headlamp failed to illuminate on dipped beam , and had 6 advisories inc worn tires , worn wheel bearings , worn rear sprocket . it was then retested the same day and passed but still had all the advisories . it then passed its test on 19th July 2018 with 2 of the same advisories , it's Mot then expired on 18th July 2019 , it was then SORN and changed ownership on 28th November 2020 . Amazing what you can find out . No need to buy a lemon anymore , not saying that this one was of course .
Anyone can search MOT history, that's common knowledge. Yes, it needed a bulb for the MOT and anyone who knows about MOTs will tell you advisories have to be reported but can make something sound a lot worse on paper than it actually is.
Make a scrambler next lol
very nice owsome
👌
The bike looks pretty good and done so on a budget. It looks like a gorilla humping a football when you're riding it. You should flip it and add a bit of cash and try for a 350 or 500 after your learners period if you haven't done so already. Video was decent.
why not upgrade wider tires ? dosen't match with the big round head light
Why did you adjust the rearset to make it more comfortable, he looks way too big for it as it os
congrats half million views
Thank you...that is fantastic!!!
how about replacing tires with thick ones ?
I want to make a Cafe Race racer with my Genesis Rk 150, haha I really hope that I can realize it :)
Great project lads! I wish you had shown how to cut down the mud guard though. Did it need a weld?
Fair point. I will nudge Malc to answer....
i drilled the rivets out cut the back off with a grinder then redrilled the holes for the rivets in new positions bent the supports up to meet the guard and cut them short drilled and re-riveted job done.
I liked your own bike
I really liked the cafe racer you came driving in the starting of the video. Is there any way i can buy one?
Yes, it is the FB Mondial HPS 125
Might recommend coring out the exhaust, a bar end mirror, clean the wheels.
Watch this space...update video coming soon.
looks like a late 70s yamaha dt175. what is the top speed on flats? i like it. i almost bought a 77 dt175 and was gonna basically do the same but i just bought a grom instead. though i got a good deal on the grom it was still 2k us. the old bikes i found were about the same price i got the grom for though. mainly because they were still in very good condition for the age. but i still like the cafe racer look and who knows maybe ill mod the grom one day. ps get better looking mirrors. and man you should have got the bars that shoot back towards the bike. or the 3 piece bars where the handles can be adjusted in or out.
Hi, you are right about the handle bars but the key was small budget and those 3 piece ones were too expensive for that. Top speed is about 70 UK mph.
Great work guys.... how you did front mud guard short?
i drilled the rivets out cut the back off with a grinder then redrilled the holes for the rivets in new positions bent the supports up to meet the guard and cut them short drilled and re-riveted job done.
