Now I know where you’ve acquired your patience with the horses and animals, law enforcement. You have quite the resume going Tim. Malinda, I think I’ve said this a number of times, you do a great job of helping with the videos. Thank you for sharing these videos. ❤️
I didn't know that you were in law enforcement. I'm sure that you've mentioned it before, but THIS old brain doesn't function as well as it used to. For me, tunnel vision is not an easy thing to get out of. The training that y'all have to go through encompasses so many things. Much respect to the good folks that work in law enforcement. I worked in quality control for over 30 years, which was a perfect fit for me, as I have always had a critical eye, and good observational skills...not as good as I used to be, neither is my memory apparently 😊 Love these beautiful giants. Thanks Tim! ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎
I had 19 years as a sheriff deputy, now to keep my credentials current I work part time with state marine patrol. It's only a few hours a month. Basically salt water game warden.
I had a pair of Canadian geese we brought back to Mass from Canada had them for 2 years before they migrated. You couldn't see my paved driveway it was green with poop lol.
This is such a beautiful horse. You will have her listening and balanced in time. She needs confidence. There are several LEO'S in my family so I understand. Where I'm from has a good size mounted patrol with several Belgians. I definitely see where your patience was honed. Thank you for serving your community. 💙
This is so good I watched it 3x. I’m going to get on my 2 yr old percheron soon. I need to do more long lining with her. I hope with more riding these percherons develop more go. Thanx, Tim. So grateful for these videos. ❤❤❤
When I 🎉was a kid our barn had some draft crosses. Most were reasonable, but one of appaloosa/giant cross. Birchman. He had the neatest trick of being able to buck going over fences. Your legs were so far apart around his barrel, there was no way to catch your self. Then came the second round of fences .
I know exactly where you’re coming from with the reference to the use of force continuum. I think it makes complete sense. You’re riding a horse that makes my mare look like a miniature horse. 😎. Control rules the game.
Very interesting to watch this mare. She is calm and seems gentle but just has not caught on to who is in charge. Draft horses in general "appear" slow to connect......wonder what she would do following a cow?
Tim, not fussing at you but the proper name is Canada geese or goose, no such thing as a Canadian goose. Love your calmness and patience with the horses. J
Well, actually, there are Canadian geese. Those would be the ones that are citizens of Canada… so, Canadian Canada Geese. Just pull one over and ask to see their license & registration to see what I mean. 😜
I had an instructor who said reigning horses injure their front legs while performing, but this can’t be true since they use their hindquarters so much (even teaching this at the lunge line). Then she said that English horses have a longer career than Western. I thought both had performance horses in their 20s?
I like her a lot. Have a nice day mr tim Anson you have a lot of horses 🐎 i like them a lot 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🎅🧑🎄🤶
Canadian Goose 😂!!!!!

That horse is so big that your saddle looks like a kiddy saddle!
Dinner plate hooves 😳. I once got accidentally trod on by a police horse with those.
I am so grateful to you amazing.
Such a beautiful horse. Shame she gets pushed around by the other but I guess there is a pecking order with horses too.

God bless you for your years of service in law enforcement
Hi Malinda. You two are doing a great job making these vids educational and entertaining
Morning guys, looking good,
When I 🎉was a kid our barn had some draft crosses. Most were reasonable, but one of appaloosa/giant cross. Birchman. He had the neatest trick of being able to buck going over fences. Your legs were so far apart around his barrel, there was no way to catch your self. Then came the second round of fences .

beautiful horse- thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience
She is big. My mare is a big Rocky - almost too tall. My granddaughter calls her a mountain
Family is e v e r y t h i n g.
Thanks for you service! Training officer? Good presentation of "Force Continuum". Used it alot in 25 years LE.
Yes I was an FTO. Knowing that it probably shows in some of the things I do.
Very interesting to watch this mare. She is calm and seems gentle but just has not caught on to who is in charge. Draft horses in general "appear" slow to connect......wonder what she would do following a cow?
We will find out! LOL.

Whatever they are I with they would go somewhere else. They make a terrible mess. Lol.

@@darkwinter6028 Yeah, pull one over then run like the devil! They are beautiful but vicious 😱! Careful, Tim!
Oh you put ply on other side fence?
Yes

There are lots of performance horses in all disciplines in their 20's
❤️❤️❤️
Buy em a goat?
