The books were changed. The word was eternal but once it was compiled into books by rulers and church fathers, they intentionally or may be unintentionally added and subtracted to the original word. It was remedied by sending another prophet and the word that was preserved without any corruption.

Plus 6th century manuscripts have verses that weren't there in the 4th century ones so whos to say there weren't earlier manuscripts that had different teachings that we haven't discovered yet. There is a QUran called Hafs and There is a QUran called Ad-Doori not sure if you are familiar with this, both are consinder to be 1 Quran not two different versions because that will mean Allah fail to protect Quran, both are consider to be the same meaning from start to finish , Chapeter for chapter and verse to verse. Now that evolution has been proved beyond doubt, Islam is forced to change its once rigid position on this subject.
Islam now has its own (incorrect) version of evolution which fits in with their beliefs.
Evolution proves that the story (in Quran and Bible) of Adam (the creation of man) is totally false.
If those books were written or directed by a 'god', than that 'god' would have understood evolution and not made those mistakes.
This proves beyond doubt that the 'Holy' books were written by men.
