      @@Trapper_Creek_2024 Do we know for sure they didn't call 911? Sometimes people will leave to get help. The person was also walking their dog, so what were they supposed to do with their dog? Do we know if their dog would have been safe to have around the child or would the dog attack because of all of the high stress involved? There are a lot of unknown factors here - it's easy to make assumptions, but it's ironic that you talk about compassion when you're obviously not very good at showing it towards the person who "ran away."

    People criticizing the person who "ran away" from Natai when he was hurt seem like they're forgetting that this person had a dog with them. There's a kid screaming for help, bleeding profusely from a cut artery, and they expect this person to be able to help him. For all we know they might have said something while leaving and Natai didn't hear them because he's going through a traumatic event, maybe they did try to find help, maybe they knew their dog wouldn't react well to the situation, etc etc. Just be thankful that Natai lived and received the help he needed. I'm so glad he survived that.

    • @_bluephoenix_
      @_bluephoenix_ 4 дня назад

      This is what I was thinking! If they faint at the sight of blood, they'd be useless and a risk as well with the dog! Who's to say she wasn't the one who rang EMS?
      Fight or flight instinct - she had the flight response and it may well have been from her own trauma or a myriad of reasons.

    It's interesting to see these close-knit families on here, and then realize that my family is not like that at all. My family judges you by what your job is, how much money you make, and what stupid status symbol crap you've bought that you'll probably never use. If they need help, it's "get over here right now", but if I or my dad need help, they have to contemplate whether we're good enough in their eyes. I hope the people on these shows know how lucky they are.

    I used to think that I’d never be old enough to bury my parents. And then one day, I had to bury my Dad. It wasn’t long after that day and I had to bury my Mom. It’s already been 20 years … but it still hurts as much as if it was yesterday. I would give my life if I could spend just 5 more minutes with my Mom and Dad.
    I think Kim and I must be siblings - we have the same feelings about our family and our parent’s lives are eerily similar.

    Being from the US I’ve watched a few UK shows and they talk about test revisions. I have no clue what that is or how it works there. Also Natai mentioned his GCE’s I believe. I also have no clue what that is either.
    One of these days I hope to understand it.
    Here you go to school, graduate around 17-18yrs old then go on to college or trade school or find a job.
    So how things are done there are just different and it would be interesting to understand the differences.

    • @_bluephoenix_
      @_bluephoenix_ 4 дня назад

      Test revisions... exactly that. They re-test you on what you've learned and what's been revised. Whether redoing the same test for a better result or a similar one.
      GSCE is the same as what you know as a high school diploma. (End of yr 12) It's the grades you get when graduating for entry into university/college.

  • @racheld7528
    @racheld7528 Месяц назад

    I’m a nurse in the US. I was wondering with nursing in the UK, when you go to school for nursing do you have to pick a field you are interested in and stick with it? Or can you move around to different departments until you find one you like? Just curious. I’ve worked a few different units and that’s what I like about nursing. If you work one for a bit and you decide you want a change you have that option. So just wondering.
    Thanks!

    So I’ve watched the ambulance show that is also on this channel, I know they don’t always have an ambulance available. Sounds like they got the boy there pretty quick. But are there cases when it’s faster for someone to drive instead of waiting for the ambulance? Does that happen often? No disrespect to anyone. From what I have seen, there are too many calls and not enough staff. So I just wondered how often it may be faster for someone to drive than wait.

    • @AnotherWittyUsername.
      @AnotherWittyUsername. 21 день назад +1

      Yes, it sometimes is faster to drive to the hospital, especially if you live fairly close, but with some injuries you can cause even more damage to your family member by moving them. I guess common sense is key in that kind of situation.
