From what I read, Liam is amazing towards the fans, but his less memorable moments come against media members. Liam knows it’s the fans that helped make him into the rockstar he is today, not the media, so he shows his appreciation for them.

I think the interviewer meant an actual festival, there first gig technically would be the basement or boardwalk, however I do believe they likely did play at least 1 festival prior to glastonbury, though I could be wrong..

I've met Liam and he is a very down to earth guy. You wouldn't think he was a rock star in his presence. But he has a star quality about him
