The compute power that the chips and fab processes that have been developed for cell phones deliver today is an impressive extra benefit of the staggering size of the cell phone market. I appreciate how your channel explores these alternate compute options any platform at a "reasonable" price point. 👍
man... impressive! the steam deck couldn't run devinci resolve... huge plus! that's what I use, and here in the future, the rog ally has improve a lot! thanks for the demo man
I would say it will handle pretty well! I've seen lots of producers using it with it, and I've produced on the steam deck with win 11 on it. I did finished a whole song on it. the steam deck is weaker than the ally, so... this should be even better
Dont think no way these at all beats a laptop gaming laptop or even workstation laptop for pro people when we talk about mobile processing computing power

It's a great time for computers. Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

Yw! It’s a little beast for sure. AMD and ASUS worked some magic with that CPU.
@@TaylorBrauer for sure! the future it's bright
With an dock you can also add an eGpu for a lot of extra gpu power :)
Totally! It's got a lot of versatility.
Would an external monitor affects its performance in video editing? I'm interested to buy one for productivity but the screen is obviously too small 😆
The screen itself affecting performance? Nah, it'll more depend on what you're editing.
How about several powerfull tracks in Ableton? how many tracks can be played at the same time? Thank you
I'm not sure on that one as I don't do any audio work. It handles DaVinci Resolve pretty fine so I imagine Ableton performs similarly.

you can buy an external monitor and make it way smaller than a laptop and more comfortable and cheaper to use
Yep!
What about Adobe After Effects? Will it be able to handle
idk After Effects' requirements, but I won't doubt it could do at least smaller After Effects projects.

Not all but it beats many in terms of raw CPU power. I think the video makes it pretty clear what it's capable of.
Battery life sucks
It's not the best.
