And a lot of them have been with Tom from the beginning, or they view him as family, so its hard for them to hear criticism of family. I don't agree with you here, and by god, let's see if we can have a calm conversation on the subject. I am game if you are. I feel like Tom has found an area of the internet that he can excel in while manipulating those viewers with clever lines, but they do seem to lean to the conservative side, which is why I think he has so much support on his content. Conservatives are on the internet looking for confirmation this year with the Ls they took and Tom can feed that with his content. He may be saying certain things in a slick way, but not everyone is hearing it as "both sides". Tom may be saying no one person is better than the other, but he is being used as an anthem by one side more than the other because of what he is saying.

[Please read this one] I think you miss the point about HOG's comments (meant in the most sincere way possible). Most of us are accepting of opposite opinions from reactors, We tend to just react negatively to those who either slam him and call him racist or other slurs or they miss his message. Tom goes live 1-2 times a month on Facebook and answered our questions about him as a person, his path, his intentions, his song lyrics, and such, so we are more educated on what he is trying to do or say because of it. Typically we respond to comments that twist/misinterpret his lyrics or his stance on certain things.. then there is the political stance.. most think he is this or that when he is anti-establishment 100%, no political party and he is all about pointing out the hypocrisy that screws the people. (For instance) When he says we are getting screwed the same, he is not saying blacks aren't getting it the worst, he is saying the government we are under f's us all in some way.. he is trying get the people to unify and stand up against it all... we just want to clear that up when we comment here..

This is what I was thinking. I'm curious if the people insulted him or disagreed with him. If they insulted him then they aren't true HOG. It's never bothered me whenever someone dislikes something I enjoy; I listen to a lot of extreme death metal and am quite used to this. The reasons for their stance, however, might ruffle my feathers a bit...if they aren't being honest and/or are simply parroting buzz words or using other disingenuous criticisms, for instance. I've always pushed those around me to think outside the box, to think for themselves, and to step outside comfort zones. I truly believe these are the things that lead to personal growth. The more we know about ourselves is key. No one can know you as deeply as you know yourself...no one can tell you who you actually are, you have to figure that out on your own. Only then can we recognize our flaws and begin to mold ourselves into what we aspire to be. That being said, at the end of the days I like what I like, not simply what I'm supposed to like, and I try to encourage others towards this mindset. Some are receptive, some are stricken with the idea that their place in this world is so intrinsically intertwined with being part of a collective that any deviation from the group's perspective is inconceivable...their identities relying so heavily on "the hive" that they are no longer capable of functioning without it. That type of mentality really only works when emotion and freewill are removed from the equation. Worker ants have neither the choice, nor even the desire, to be anything other than worker ants...they don't have aspirations of one day becoming a soldier ant or a queen (yes, I realize that workers are male...I'm simply making a point 😉). They are what they are, and that's all they'll ever be. I wish more people understood this...and that it isn't something they honestly want or should endeavor towards. You cannot use force to control what people think and feel because sooner or later someone stronger will come along and do the same to you. Always think before you speak, or act, because the consequences you face may not be immediate; they might come later, possibly even after you've forgotten the catalyst completely. The bottom line is don't be a servant to superficial praise and acceptance. Be a knowledgeable person who is strong enough to welcome true discussion and correction if need be. Do your own research and never be so prideful that you think you're always right. Myself, I always try to earnestly disprove my personal convictions...and I sometimes do just that, I prove myself wrong and am better for it. Sorry for the long post lol And to answer your question, one of my favorite Tom Macdonald songs is Hangman. It came out right before Dear Rappers, I believe (if I'm not mistaken...someone correct me if I'm wrong 😁), and gives us another glimpse into his life and struggles. Love the channel, man!
