The scene with Robin and Steve wasn’t just one of the finest scenes in this series. It’s possibly one of the most beautiful pieces of television I’ve watched in years.
i agree. She definitely comes from good stock. Not saying she isn't talented on her own but that was great character building. And Steve? He's just the MAN! Came a long way from the douchebag he was lol. Reminds me of Jaime Lannister and his hate/love arc.

I know (or think) you watched so far just productions wich were filmed in english, but I can recommend a German Netflix production called "Dark". If you like timetravel things I really can suggest that. Its dubbed into the english language, too. Actually I dont like German filmproduktions at all, but this one is the best I've ever seen. But I have to warn you, its a bit of confusing storyline with a couple of plot-twists!

Billy literally just graduated high school a few months before the start of season 3, he is definitely still very much a kid and still being actively abused by his dad. It's hard to learn and grow when you have someone who punished you for any perceived sign of weakness

Awesome review. My take (no spoilers for ep 8). The Mindflayer is in the upside down. It is what controls the things in our world (flayed, infected), but it only can when the gate is open. Russians cracked the gate, Piece of shadow left here that came out of Will could be controlled again. Took over rats to build something corporeal. That allowed it to start taking people and infecting them to grow the army. Billy is just infected and controlled, but the main controller is the shadow monster in the upside down. Flayed were consuming chems to help dissolve when time came to assemble. Large monster here is still controlled from the upside down through the cracked gate.
I cannot wait for the next/last episode!!!! Im so excited for your reaction to it. Heads up, your going to need LOTS of tissues and there is an after credit scene! Also, make sure you make it into 2 different videos because there is a LOT to react to. Also, if you do that, would you post both on the same day or one next weekend and then the other the week after that? Thanks!!

Gunslinger 11B I’d say “being sick” ends up being relative. I don’t consider myself to be sick until it affects how well I can work. In a mostly physical job, a cold just ISN’T sick. Nikki’s job in this case is to talk on camera. Her voice is at least 40% of the job, so I’d say a cold IS sick.

They learned from last season with great CGI and cinematography. For eight episodes, hit the gas and get out of the way.
When you watch episode 8 , stay to the end because there is post credit scene that is super important.
Another thing that gets me is when hopper asks about Alexei he uses his actual name instead of Smirnoff. It made me misty not going to lie.

The scene where Mike’s little sister sees the trees moving below reminds me of The Lost World(Jurassic Park 2) scene when the T-Rex pair arrive. I wouldn’t be surprised if they drew inspiration from it, very similar.

First thing, Nikki I hope you feel better! It was an awesome episode! I heard from the producers of Stranger Things in an interview before season 2, that the show will go upto 5 or 6 seasons. Let's hope that we get 6! I think the whole group will have to go through the gate and confront the Mind Flayer on it's own turf to be killed once and for all.

11 and Billy are my favorite, they really held this season, I like Steve too. Billy isn’t a jerk, he can’t control it. He acts the way he does is because of his dad, you’ll see more. You can tell in some of the show where Billy has tears and he’s still in there and is literally asking for help. You don’t have to take the screen off just edit it like you do. It’s so sad when Alexei died
