2k is never going to be good on new gen consoles, those ultra-realistic proplay animations ruin the game completely and year after year they will keep putting more and more animations and ruining the game more and more, 2k will never again be a fun game as it was before, the last 2k good was 2k20 , they complicate everything , shoot , dribble , basic mechanics , its not fun for nobody , ppl want a arcade game to having fun not this bullshit

Sh!t I ain't a 2k/ EA Cash Cow and I love sports and been playing since the nes/snes. I haven't bought a 2k full priced game in a minute bruv just like how I love Football (NFL) but I ain't bought it fully priced either since Madden 12. I have also never spent a dime on any points or cards ever. We aint all "Dummies" some of us just love sports and miss the days where sh!te was deep but also you could pick it up at night in your few moments and play and feel like Michael Jordan (or insert yours here lol) NFL 2k5 DEEP and FUN.. Nba 2k3, 2k11-12 same.

I feel your pain because I quit playing after 2k20. However you're fighting the wrong fight. 2k did what they had to do because of the zen & titan users. Blame them for forcing 2k to make the changes they did to shooting. That rabbit whole can get deep because to be honest if the community wasn't so toxic and concerned with stats it might have worked out. As long as it's pay to win it's going to forever be bad

I was shooting 68% with a 64 3pt in 2k20 65%with a 78 3pt in 2k24 and now shooting 51% in 2k25 with a 76 3pt. Honestly, people need to learn their animations. If people run up on you, it's open, but it gives you a contested release, so it's fast. But when you're open and no one runs at you, it's a regular release, and it is so much slower of a jumpshot. I honestly like it better now. Aint nobody going 14 for 16 from the three👌

dawg, I've been talking to my 2's duo abt this. I think they intentionally make the game worse and worse (or less fun, because people like to say this game is better than previous years) so they can force casual players to get their basketball fix somewhere else...such as GTA 6, a game shared by the same parent company, a game that's planning on coming out with virtual basketball, and a game that a lot of people (such as 2k "casuals") are already getting hyped about. That's why they screwed the dribbling, the shooting, sbmm, lane steals, smoking open lays, etc. They WANT to make the people who cannot dedicate their entire life to the game to become disgruntled and eventually play something else. Give it like 3-4 years, All the 2k "casuals" will be on GTA 6 if they wanna play ball, and 2k will be reserved for only the most dedicated.

I would hire those who will certainly care about the quality of games and the way they carry themselves that brings honor and respect to fans when playing games they enjoy and like. but yeah id fire the hell out of everyone who dont want to be creative and respect the work of whats required to keep the fans engaged in gaming and to keep those satisfied with the product.

I got banned for "quitting" games(my console turned off 1 too many times mid games) i got 120 mins thats 2hrs i spent those 2hrs in the my court testing out all the difficulty settings and just shooting shots. I dont remember how many shots i took but its was a LOT. Got to a point where i was able to green without even looking at my player im thinking when this ban is done im ready to go out there and start whooping ass.... first game on i went 2/7 then second game 3/11 i shut the game off right there cause this is bs. It genuinely feels like when i shoot im just HOPING it goes in at this point cause CLEARLY i dont fucking know my release 😅😂. Like i can FEEL the change on my shot. Sometimes i might hold the shit a bit later than what my green is suppose to be and im like yeah i missed that i held it a bit late and the shit say "slightly early" excuse tf outta me but are u gon tell me that i DIDNT hold the square button mad long? Or when u think shit i didnt hold it long enough that should be early or sum but nah the shit green. Im there flabbergasted cause i know damn well i shoulda missed that shit 😅 but yeah the shit jist mad inconsistent and

U do realize my court uses ur set difficulty setting and has no lag like any online court. If ur on rookie ur gonna knockdown shots left and right in my court. U need to be going to the outside courts or joining a friend's city while in ur my court. These methods will actually simulate the in-game lag

I appreciate your video, but 19 was intentionally made arcadey. 20 was more realistic, but was limited by the technology available. Next Gen is able to make stuff realistic. If you play basketball in real life, missing open shots happens all the time, even if you are a perfect shooter.

2K Gambling Machine rolls on as it is a pay to win game even in its mechanics. Only way to really win in this game is either play 24/7 or pay pay. I've been done with onlines crap all around! I am only playing older sport games (NFL 2k5 etc) as well as 2k23s MY NBA right now because my franchise modes I made. So screw 2ks 24/25 especially. From wrestling to NBA to even Grand theft Online they just want your $$$

Exhibit A: We facing off against some red plate mfs but i was cooking we were hitting out shots shit was great best game ive had yet. Score is 18-18 i play great defense get the steal i throw it up to my boy who was already damn near in the paint. Im thinking if we make it 18-20 then even if they hit a 3 we still in the game, we can win. He clanks it. This is how wide open he was. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO EVEN MADE IT PAST HALF COURT. It was him the rim and a basketball. Opposing team didnt even move from our half cause even they had chucked it up as a bucket. When i tell u the way all hopes faded the moment he missed that shit and then we lost 21-18 cause i got vacumm sucked into a screen even tho i wasnt trying to and the 6'2 guard with 94 3 hit the shot to end the game.
