How to troubleshoot and fix this led tv has a constant buzzing or humming noise which seems to be coming from the back, indicating a possible mechanical noise due to excess vibration from one of the components on the main AV board, possibly from the transformer. This should work for most tvs, as a last resort the main av board can be replaced.

Peel off some of the yellow plastic tape to expose the copper winding. Then, with a natural artist's brush generously apply shellac or varnish to the windings so that it penetrates throughout the coil. Let it dry/harden thoroughly. Resecure the plastic wrap. Power it up. Hopefully the mechanical buzzing or whistling of the coil will be silenced.
Yes excellent suggestion to ask manufacturer about fixing/replacement components etc before time to return product runs out! I will definitely do that on every product with potential faults like this. It's such a bad thing that everything is made to fail after/when warranty expires, but that suggestion is one way to circumvent that to a degree.

While it may not have worked here I tried the bluetac method on a £50 TV I just bought and it worked wonders reverted it back to the £250 it was worth thank you very much! 🎉🎉🎉
I am still trying to work out what's causing the buzzing in my TV. I thought the TV itself had gone bad, but when I connected a replacement TV I got the same buzzing. Is it the Roku device I have connected that's causing it, or is there something in the cabling? The other TVs in our house are fine.

Although it was an unsuccessful repair it was a successful video cos now I know how to take that TV apart.

I'm using a Sony Trinitron crt, it squeals when I use my Xbox, but not when I use my Wii, not sure what is wrong and hoping it's an easy fix. if anyone knows something let me know.
Maybe there is reason why this small transformer is making noise. What about filter capacitors ,have you checked those?
7:25 graphite is highly conductive! And that's what used to write/draw with the pencil. If you had graphite on the other side of the pencil and a finger or your hand was on there you could have had some trouble!

I only hear the buzzing noise when it’s turned off. When I turn the 4K TV on, no noise. When I then turn it off, it starts to make the noise in about 30 seconds. I’ll have to unplug it so the buzzing doesn’t bother me when I’m trying to sleep. It’s not extremely loud but I can hear it when the room is very silent. My old 1080p tv never had this issue. This is one of the many issues of encountered. And I was thinking getting a new 2020 4K tv I would have zero problems when it’s the complete opposite. Smh 🤦♂️

This weird sound just started coming from my TV, and it only happens when I have game mode turned off on the TV and its so annoying, its a whole lot longer then the sound in the video
Set your picture brightness and back-light to max and see if it helps
i have a 15+ year old Sharp Aquos thats been buzzing recently. this is how i fixed it. turned the back light from 6 to max and it stopped making noise
Thanks, this worked for me on my Bush TV. Turned the picture mode from "Economy" to "Dynamic" and the high pitched buzzing stopped.

My Pc was so messed up that it was sending some nasty signals though the Hdmi, I thought the tv was gonna blow up! At first I thought it was the speakers, but it was making a horrible sound through the whole thing, even when it was on a blue screen with nothing plugged in..

Dude Fest bug outs i think I missed it in the very beginning! Mine is more of a screeching sound and I’m wondering if it doesn’t have to do with the cord from the genie box. When the box is turned off and therefore no signal the noise goes away
