What do you mean they need a new vocalist? Telle has a unique voice and scream and that's what makes it so easy to remember it and immediately realize that it's him. He also gives it his all and cares about the music and the fans. He's a great vocalist and a great person

That little synth at the beginning that plays through most of the background is so fucking dope.
I really like this album. You can really feel the passion. Hope their new album will be just as raw :/ Songs like this are so powerful. I jam this and "Life Cycles" in the shower.

Haha, well, back in 2010, I talked with Zack from the band about writing the song, and he was the one who introduced me to the scale, as well as explaining that the song was written using that scale! It also would make sense calling the song "The Hounds of Anubis" being written in the Egyptian scale. :)
They matured, got better, and are killing the metal game! ;D
The harmonic minor does sound VERY similar to the Egyptian scale. Check it out! It's a really fun scale to play, and fun to write music with as well! :)
Egyptian Scale is just a mode of Harmonic Minor, start the Harmonic Minor scale from the fifth degree.

ps.this album is on sale at best buy. price says 9.99 but its actually 7.99 at checkout. if you can't work for about an hour at a minimum wage job to pay for something a team of people worked on for almost a year, theres something wrong with the world. sucks that preorders aren't out yet, but its worth the wait (: check out the bonus tracks smoke monster and the conscience in the meantime. teamTWA
