@@Cross_111 I tried the Unravel (it's a stance) rotation with off-hand dagger and Relic of the Weaver, but lost 3k - 4k dps. For Relic of the Weaver you will need to slot in the heal stance and use it in the rotation somewhere since the other two stances deal no damage. Hi I'm currently build this build... it seems like I can't use the warhorn with weaver spec, do I need the exact Berserker's Warhorn or is there anything I have to take note in order to use warhorn for this build ?
@@eachone9220 ofc it can, but the average player will never see those numbers. Thats why you dont wanna go with the dagger. Just plan better when movement is involved 👍
I dont like the cooldowns increase on some of the elementalist weapon skills, 30 seconds for low to mediocre impact spells is really alot of time to be locked on just this weapon. Now I dont see a reason to play anything different than weaver sword dagger, sword focus as offset weapons, might replace the sword on the offset for scepter, but it really doesnt matter because all elementalist spells are close quarter spells, and since elementalist cant freely switch weapons in combat, this idea is kinda obsolete. I dont like the greathammer damage and how its damage fluctuates, maybe with quickness it will be different but it definately feels the need of attack speed trait like the warriors have in atleast catalyst traitline. This was supposed to be the main power build spec with heavy focus on the lightning tree, but it turns out condition tempest is on top with 45k dps and weaver is second with both of its damage type iterations.
Dagger is still better if you need more breakbar, but unfortunatelly it's just not as efficient for DPS. Especially with the new Fireworks relic proccing only on 20s or longer cooldown skills
I fear with roul gone there will be no one pushing that build to its limits because it is probably still 1-2k worse - after ryans optimizations over the last few months probably even more now. You can probably adapt rouls rotation from his last bench video to sword/warhorn and use the same build except for fresh air but i dont know of anyone posting videos pushing that build.
the weave self is way too close for most real fights isnt it? i can barely make it work on the golem, if you're just missing 1 sec of alac in the beginning you wont be able to get this right
My experience is the first weave self he does here is possible in real raids (maybe without pushing fire aa before switching f/f => a/f => w/a) but i wouldnt try starting the weave self as early as he did his second. But you canbe probably a bit faster than i am and get it done like him on the golem
I'm having a lot of trouble with the power weaver. I don't test with all the buffs and debuffs or food because I mainly solo open world stuff but Condi weaver I can get like 13.5k and kill the 1m golem in about 75 seconds with trailblazer gear But with power I struggle to hit 9k dps by the end. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, if it's just my gear, if my rotation is bad or anything
Boons make a huge difference, and there are builds that sufer more than others from missing boons. Literally the only boons condi weaver needs is might. Alac and Quickness are really nice but you are not as dependend on constantly switching elements like power weaver, because you go on earth because all other skills in fire are on cooldown so you make a quick trip there. Power weaver on the other hand has most of his highest damage skills on fire (fire 2,3,5) but the strongest auto attacks (and air 3,5) are on air and you want to double atune. So alac makes a huge difference. Probably its more optimal to do a similar thing on power weaver regarding air like with earth on condi weaver, but only without alac. Because your damage comes from so many sources and a huge chunk of it are auto attacks quickness is really important too. On top of that there is fury which most power dps classes need to crit cap. When you are missing 25 percent crit chance that means every fourth hit (and you wanna hit reeeeaaaally fast) isnt crit and doesnt get increased by your ferocity stat you invested heavily in. To Summarize: Before judging your builds max performance and espeacially your performance with it try it a few times with atleast 10 boons (including the most important once: fury, alac, quick, might) on a 4m golem. That makes it easier to help you (with logs etc.) and it gives a better perspective for you where you stand. If you have any furthermore question post them here. Good Luck and have fun with it:)
I really appreciate the response. I have since made a Chronomancer to pass the time and learned just how much of a difference boons make since that can basically 1-man itself into permanent might, fury, quickness and alacrity. I plan on giving weaver another go today since it's still my favorite class, though it's a little disheartening to know what a poor performance it'll have completely solo
@@taa347 Nice to hear that you plan on giving weaver another chance! On the solo thing: Yes power weaver suffers especially hard without boons and i myself switched a while back from power Weaver first to power catalyst and now to condi weaver in open world. But it pays you back double time doing it in groups like raids or strikes! To give you an alternative for open world: Try condi weaver in open world (i quite like sword/focus despite it not being the "optimal" weapon combo on the golem) with an combination of trailblazer and viper gear + baltazar runes. This build equally struggles keeping up boons like fury, might and prot, not to talk about harder boons like alac or quick which are impossible. BUT it is a great combination of good condi dmg and survivability. First condi dmg: Condi builds on weaver are always pretty strong and quite bursty because you do so much burning (and mainly that). Your rune can focus on burning and you are fine. Condi builds in general allow you to kite a bit to gain health/ regain abilities because their condis keep ticking. Furthermore condi only really need two stats: expertise and condi damage, the one to two other stats can be for survivalbility or a bit power damage. The last isnt that bad which is one reason why weaver had and has a hybrid build which were never really best-in-slot but always quite close. That helps with getting enemies to die quickly while not being so on edge like power weaver. Now survivability: (with sword/focus) The stat combos trailblazer/viper combi allows you to have 17k health (take "Masters Fortitude" in weaver for over 20k health), 100% burning duration and high condi damage while criting every third attack. You wont burst nearly as hard as pure berzerker power weaver but you wont die nearly as fast as power weaver. Baltazar hero point solo with condi weaver isnt that hard and i dont know if someone has done that with power weaver. Your main "tank" element earth grants you acces to one evade+bleeding (earth 2), stab+barrier+burning (earth/fire dual), 3s invuln (earth 5) and blast finisher+bleeding (earth 4, insta cast). Rotate through fire and earth and most veterans and elites melt while you stay healthy. When you need to resustain - no problem, just rotate into water without fully attuning to it and get acces to healing through waterfield + blast finisher, direct healing abilites and burning application (combine water with fire) So Tl,Dr: Condi weaver is a great way to enjoy the weaver gameplay (which is the best designed elite spec imo) and be able to have fun doing open world successfully - with or without allies. Are there better solo builds on other ele specs or other classes out there? Yeah. But if you enjoy weaver give it a try! Have fun!
