I'm an Ultra hip hop head who usually listens to people like Nas, Mos Def, Ghostface , De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest etc But I'm not gonna lie despite his lack of complex lyricism there's just something so entertaining about Young Thug.He has a very unique outlandish style sort of like a mash-up of Lil Wayne, ODB and courage the cowardly dog with schizophrenia yet he manages to use this absurd vocal style and flow to make very infectious, memorable, catchy songs. It's like hes generic as fuck but experimental at the same time LOL.
How can you compare ODB with him??? That shows that you just talking shit and you are not a hip hop head
Lorik K I'm guessing U were't around in the 90's because I remember when Wu tang first came out everybody at school was like they're amazing but that ODB guy is trash, I can't understand him, his singing is terrible why is he even in the crew, this is'nt real hip hop but as time progressed people appreciated that he was doing something different. Now the reason I compared thug to ODB was not because I think they sound alike but because ODB was hated on at the time for bringing a unique, sometimes incoherent,wild style to Boombap and Young Thug is hated for bringing his weird delivery to trap music, which is honestly a sub-genre that is in desperate need for authenticity,especially in terms of vocal delivery.
