The weird straight lines happen on my iPad too… it only happens when the iPad is being charged and the battery is over 80%. I guess the battery is causing the screen to be compressed. That is the only explanation I have found.

You could test with installing another note app. I’m a big fan of Notability. I don't get the same artifacts that you saw in this video. If you get the same behavior with a different app, then it's your hardware or the screen cover.
Do you speak another language it would be so relaxing to listen to this in a language foreign to me so i can’t hyper focus on not understanding the math portion lol
