I do love reptiles and I'm not a fan of stressing them out, HOWEVER... I genuinely needed to see this demo to assess my feelings on Rocky's Snakeboots. I do a lot of peakbagging in remote areas, and it's getting warm out again. Thanks for this video. I'm sold on these boots.
I just bought my first pair of Rocky Snake Boots this morning. We have a lot of copperheads & a few rattlers in my neck of the woods and as I don't see as good as I once did...I decided the investment would outweigh the risks. I had a ground rattler strike my shovel a few years back and the way my shovel handle vibrated, that snake had the power behind his jaws! Don't want to get bit.
The slit "cats eye" thing doesn't always work. Many Venomous snakes have round eyes, and many non-venomous have the "cats eye" look.... So unless you know for sure what you're looking at, always be careful and assume it's dangerous.
Their customer service is terrible. 6 month warranty from the date of purchase. So far I have had three pair different patterns and I do like them. I did have trouble out of one pair and they were in no way helpful.
I can't stand people like this. All he is doing is teaching people to hate snakes. Cottonmouths are not a temperamental snake. He obviously abuses it to get the reaction he needs to sell boots. Pitiful!
Your crazy. I've had many cotton mouths be aggressive and try to bite me. I've had them almost crawl into my lap sitting on river banks a lake edges while fishing at night. They have attitudes and if you piss them off they WILL come for you !
What’s the matter with you go find a different way to sell your product and make money. There is no such thing as a bad snake they are just defending their selves just as you do. They just want to get away from you you are tormenting the same animal.
There was NOTHING abusive about that presentation. If you had met that snake out in the woods he would have striked and kill you without a drop of remorse.
My husband and I each own a pair of these boots for a couple of years now and we love them! Totally recommend them.
I’ve had a pair of Rocky’s for 10 years and there fine love rocky
1:16 proves that the snake would rather retreat than be antagonized
I was really surprised. I thought it would strike immediately. I've seen really aggressive water moccasins.

I had the same mixed feelings. But I am glad that they are showing the test.
I doubt they were stressed that much. They weren’t hurt at all
@@sasquatchdonut2674 hurting no... but I assure you it was stressed.
Rocky has become a best bang for your buck boot , like Schrade knives.
Those boots may work but Cabelas is always more costly.
A cheap rubber boot will work also.

Cobra 🐍 has round eyes and it is deadliest venomous
Saw 3 copperheads November 28th 2022 54 degrees Crane lake Virginia snapped a picture and backed away 😁
Try this with a western diamond back or large fanged species...
This guy is over-selling the boots. He sounds like one of the hard-drinking, womanizing, traveling country preachers from back in the day.
Go play with your barby doll.
This is why I only buy Rocky snake boots for my outdoor activities
He reminds me of a televangelist!
So which is you best waterproof snake boot?
Haha that's awesome!! I just did a review on Cabela's Pinnacle snake boots and someone told me to check out this vid!! Good to know...thanks;))
Where is the review?

There isn't but four kinds of snakes that I don't like .... That's big ones , little ones, alive ones & dead ones 😂😂😂😂😂😂 pretty much sums it up ....
Is this boot 100 percent snake proof
He reminds me of Jeff Bridges

Look like my X wife to
Stressing a snake out for a crowd isn’t cool and probably would not go over very well in 2022

Fuck snakes
Look ma, no 🧠!
They have been milked I guarantee it.
Fine, but why do you have to treat the snake like trash and unnecessarily over expose yourself ?!?!?
So it’s a snake if he made one mistake that thing would kill him in a heartbeat why do we care about animals feeling so much

Animal abuse at its finest
Karen at the finest 😂
