- Hey guys, while I was on quarantine working from home I recorded this time lapse of a house build in Florida from start to finish. It was pretty cool to see it go up so fast. The builder is Windemere Homes.

Yep
Inspections and everything in 2 months!!! Wow!
Yeah I doubt it’s this fast now especially with crazy backlogs and high demands.
Gorgeous house do you know if the inside walls were cement also or where they would I've always wondered that if they do a cement exterior and a wood interior
No inside walls are all wood frame. Outside is only cement block.
looks like Lehigh Acres. cool video
Great video Andy. We're currently speaking with this builder and they are very reputable. My question to you is, is this in north port, Port Charlotte, Venice? Obviously the build time is a lot longer now for a variety of reasons. Thanx so much!!
Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
thanks very much for the vid, thinking of buying in Naples, from MN. my concerns are this, what is the actual lifespan of a home there? it seems, Humidity, excess rain, termites, mold and other insects, major storms which seem to getting more frequent and Rising ocean levels, would greatly reduce the life span of a home there. I understand you have wind and rain building codes but even so, how often would one expect to replace a roof, every 10 years or so? there’s got to be some way to build a hurricane proof roof, you’d think. Can’t decide between AZ, Naples area or maybe Texas.
mrwilliamwonder those are all good questions. So I’m living in a home for the past 6 years. Currently this home is 16 years old with same roof and same ac unit. Typical replacements in home are water heaters if you are on well water about every 5-6 years maybe. My ac is still holding up but I know I’ll have to replace it here soon. I recently had to replace my original garage door opener. But other then that the house is still in great condition with minimal repairs required. Usually for roofs it’s about 15-20 years you need a new one. As far as hurricanes and high winds. Usually they aren’t as bad as the media makes them out to be meaning there is a high chance it will miss you. In my 17 years of living here it was bad only once during charley and even then my parents house had very little damage but some areas were really bad. At the end of the day tho insurance helps cover the damage so I’m not too worried. Plus I feel like every state has some sort of a natural disaster that could strike. At least here we have nice beaches to make it worth while.
Could you tell me the name of the company that built the house and if you have their website too, thank you!
Windermere Homes. Not sure about their site
@@Daddicated thank you!
No problem
How much cost to build a house with 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms?
I’m not a builder so I’m not 100% sure. But if I had to guess a 2000 sqft house probably would cost you around $300k. Maybe give or take $10-20k.
